I highly recommend Esem for a variety of work. He did a great job remodeling my bathtub and shower including tearing out the walls, installing backerboard, new tiling, faucets, glass doors, removing popcorn ceiling and repainting. It looked so great I had him paint my other bathroom as well.
Prior to learning about Esem, I hired 3 other contractors. I accepted every price quote given, I didn’t argue with anyone, yet the first three didn’t show up at the appointed time, didn’t return phone calls and one took advantage of a prepayment.
Esem was my fourth attempt and his quote was the highest by about 10%. But I guess that what it takes to get someone reliable.
Esem didn’t always return calls or emails as promptly as I would have liked but eventually, he always got back to me. Additionally, once the work began, he was always prompt; He was meticulous and professional; He worked weekends; There were no extra charges; I felt I could trust him, in fact, one neighbor told me that she just gives him her key and leaves the house when he is working there.
I’d gladly hire him again.
