Cute place, the stylist did an amazing job on our crying, wiggling one year old. Got in right away and staff was all very friendly.

We experienced long waits the last two times we went here. These were weekend days so attributed the wait times to lots of business and not enough people working. Decided to give them one last try today. We arrived at 115pm, well within advertised business hours and found a hand written note on the door. «Out to lunch, back at 140pm». We needed a few things at Target so we ran across the way for 25 minutes returning at exactly 140pm. They were still not open! My son really needed a haircut and since we were already there waited an additional 20 minutes. Nobody came back! We will never go back to this place again and will advise against it to anyone else we can. Not the way to run an establishment. Extremely disappointed.

Used to love this place, but now it’s perpetually understaffed(1 person on a weekend), resulting in 1+ hour waits… Even when there are only 2 – 3 kids in line. Poor management, dirty, and abysmal customer service. Won’t be going back again. Ever.

I have taken my 2 ½ year old to Jack and Jill salon on Arapahoe Rd a few times and haven’t been too impressed so I took him to snip its. I liked to facilities but I was not too impressed with the stylist. My toddler is going through his I hate clippers phase and she seemed irritated that I wanted her to just use scissors. Then kept insisting on using the trimmers anyway. Also, the toys they have for distraction were sticking and dirty. In the end, after many tears and her seeming very annoyed she got it done and his hair looked fine but I won’t take him back.

My son is 3 ½ and will not sit still for anyone when getting his hair cut. We found Snip-Its in a local magazine. I did a little research about them and thought why not try one more time– Well, he did great! A lot of distractions and they stylist was quick! It is a little pricey for a kids haircut but to have a haircut that isn’t crooked, I will pay it! We will definitely go back.

Both my kids love this place. We’ve been going here for 8 years. I think my 12 year old is too old to continue to go here but she doesn’t! The cuts are always consistent and stylists always ask and listen to what I want. It’s a fun environment and the wait is never very long. I highly recommend.

Ms June does a great job on my 4YO’s hair. My daughter actually asks to go there and get her hair cut, because of the prize at the end. I would recommend her definitely. We’ve had okay experiences with the other stylists there, but Ms June is a pro and the haircut is done well, and finished very quickly.

The last review my wife put up was removed. Rather than type out a long review again, let’s just say unhappy stylists, so/so haircut and overall poor experience. Try elsewhere…

Miserable stylists. I’d pay the $ 19 for the haircut if they were friendly. I’ll never bring my son back there.

I think Snip It’s is over priced for what you get. Every time we go some policy has changed or they don’t honor previous offers.

I like the idea of a haircut place for kids because they need distractions to sit still while they get their hair cut. My normally well-behaved son hates having his hair cut and cries, fights and screams the whole time. We’ve taken him to Snip-its for several haircuts and because the stylists are trained and there are a lot of distractions they can cut his hair faster than I can. There are movies, and bright colors, and even seatbelts on the high stools so that toddlers don’t fall off while having their hair cut. We’ve been there quite a few times, maybe 5 total, but we’ve had a new stylist each time. And each one has seemed to be in a bad mood and hasn’t been cheerful or engaged the children. I find the prices to be high and so for a cut or style which has several layers or requires a razor, it’s almost worth it, but for a straight across trim, like we have done for my daughter, I find that it’s just better to do it at home. I’m willing to pay the high prices simply because my son fights having his hair cut so much and it’s a lot of work for me to battle with him while trying not to accidentally cut him with scissors. However, the reason that I don’t go back to Snip-its is because the hairstylists always insisted on giving my son the style they wanted. I had a few styles in mind, I printed out about 6 photos from the internet, nothing out of the ordinary, and I asked the stylist to cut my son’s hair like that. Each time, the stylist made a funny face indicating that she didn’t want to do that style. I’m not sure if she didn’t think she could, or she didn’t think it was fashionable. Each time, the stylist has said«ok» and then cut my son’s hair the way she wanted to instead and then said to me «I rounded the edges a bit» or «I texturized it a bit.» And we’ve left and he hasn’t had the hairstyle I asked for. He’s always looked presentable, but it wasn’t what I was looking for. For the price of one haircut there, I’ve bought my own razor and learned how to cut my children’s hair myself. I would prefer to have someone else do it, but I like the results I get better when I cut their hair myself at home than any place I’ve taken the kids.

Great job on my sons hair. A little expensive, but you can find coupons. Thanks

We get my son’s hair cut here and it’s super cute but a little expensive. All the kids hair cutting places are on the high side but it is what it is I guess. They have a TV at every single booth and when the kids are done with the hair cut they get a toy from this crazy machine that makes lots of noise. My son actually enjoyed it even though he’s only 1 ½. I will continue to take him here for his hair cutting needs in the future. We have had a couple different stylists already and they have all been quick and efficient.
