Takoda is the local tavern to my neighborhood. Food and drinks are both good. My son(8) and I stop in occasionally on weekend afternoons to play Minecraft(their wifi allows joining) and have a drink and some appetizers. The staff and management are great. As far as food goes — the cheese curds, wings and club sandwich are worth trying.

Great place to watch the game and have a few drinks. Service was great and drinks were strong. Tried the carne Asada nachos and it was a generous plate. Would recommend as a great neighbor hood hang out.

Wants to be a biker bar. Too clean for that. More like a RUB bar. Well laid out, horseshoe shaped bar. Bandstand in corner. 8 flatscreens, 4 feeds. Breakfast too expensive by $ 2.00. Weak coffee. Will not return.

Quality and quantity has definitely declined here. Good, cold beer still. Small patty melt, maybe 4.5 ounces? They were kind enough to literally throw about 15 French fries on the plate.

Their grilled chicken(on an otherwise average caesar salad) is absolutely great. Marinated somehow lightly to make it extra juicy and flavorful. Service is always good. Great patio to enjoy the wonderful Colorado weather. Friday nights get busy, very light quiet and casual other days.

I went here a couple of months ago with a coworker and ordered the smothered burrito because I was REALLY craving green chile. My coworker said it looked amazing and after I finished it… I said I obviously agreed! I have been talking about it ever since and can’t wait to go back!!!

Been there a few times. Food is ok most of the time. The inside has no atmosphere, it’s like sitting in a barn. Now we only go if we can eat on the patio.

Good enough for a neighborhood joint, but the acoustics make the inside LOUD when there are more than 20 or so in the bar. Food is pretty good, above average for bar food. Service can be really slow, and the service gets worse the farther your table is from the bar. My biggest complaint is that there is often a patron or two who have been overserved by the bartenders. Seeing an obnoxious drunk yelling at others at the bar is something I’d expect to see on Colfax, but it isn’t cool in Parker.

The Takota Tavern started out really really strong when it opened, and for about a year and a half they had a really great run. Lately, the food is not so great and the service has really gone downhill. Not sure why. I think the owner would like to know that word around town is that this place is not the number one choice anymore. I really do like supporting local businesses. This place has a big biker following, offers lots of TVs for sporting events, has music nights, and is clean and the outdoor seating area has a great view. It’s a shame that the staff & the food are keeping me and so many others away. Probably the biggest problem is that the bartender is often left alone and has to come out from behind the bar to wait on tables and it just seems like this is not working at all!!! Bartenders prefer to stay behind the bar, Everyone else gets ignored.

Place was pretty dead when we arrived for happy hour. Server was attentive. As the place got more crowded more servers came. Our original girl left and her replacement was terrible! She was nice enough but SLOW as all get out. It took 5+ minutes to get a water and 10 minutes to get our check. The manager or owner was nice and chatted but never asked if we were being helped. Service is just way to slow to deal with especially since it’s not too crowded :(

Good tavern in Parker. Many TV’s so good for football. Try the ground beef nachos. They are fantastic. Just the right amount of grease from the beef. The also give a discount to military and police here. Good job!

What can I say about this place. My absolute favorite place to hang out in Parker. With that being said, it’s nothing fancy. Food is «ok» but the beer is cold and the liquor selection is adequate. The part that brings me back over and over again is the service and the hospitality shown by the Bob the owner. Like I said it isn’t anything fancy but it’s one of those«where everyone knows your name» type places. Go and just relax on the patio and have an awesome time!

Great place. I love the food, never been disappointed! The only complaint, when you play music that isn’t to the liking of the bartender and some regulars, you get«looks». I would suggest removing the touchtunes juke box if that is the case.

Really really really bad. Good for drunks to get their fix, maybe the food is good if you are drunk enough. People were pretty trashed at noon on a weekday, seemed to be regulars. The buffalo burger was horrible. I forget what my wife had, but she didn’t like it either. The tap water tasted like it came out of a toilet. Too bad. The building and location is nice. I got the impression it was just a watering hole for the local alcoholics who also want bar food. For drinks I am sure it’s good, but not recommended as a family lunch destination.

Drinks were good. Philly Cheese Steak was like a slightly better steak um sandwich. Not good, no flavor. Blue Cheese fries would have been better if the cheese would have been actually melted and more of it. They should try using block blue cheese and slice it instead of crumbles. not sure how they do the Buffalo sauce fries but I bet if they lightly tossed the fries in sauce they may stay crispy. Or substitute a sauce for dried seasonings. Won’t be retuning. BtW both myself and hubby were sick when we got home.

Love the themes(Pro Veterans, Pro Harley, Pro Native American, Pro Beer). Friendly waitstaff and a great view. Live music can be a little loud if you are inside, but mostly because it is so small. Great Bison Burgers. (I don’t give five stars, so this is the best I have rated).

Five star for location, deck, and beer! Bar food? Meh. Buffalo blue fries, great idea! But they came out so soggy and soupy, they were just dripping sauce. Ew. Ordered a rib eye sandwich and literally came out as a tiny half steak on ONE piece, I repeat ONE piece, of regular sandwich bread cut in half? Half a sandwich for $ 15? I’ve had the burger and it was good. Just very small portions. Server and bartender were very cold toward us at first, but became nice after they realized, what? We don’t bite? This could be a great location for food and fun, but the food needs to be fresh, Takoda’s simply needs a REAL chef hired. SPEND that money for a chef, the pay-off will be worth it. Went back recently and have simply had terrible service. 30 – 40 minutes for a beer? Ordered a burger with a salad, even ordered dressing, didn’t write it down, knew it wasn’t going to happen, yup. Got fries. Got charged $ 12 for one beer. Yea. Waiting to see if that works out as they charged it. IF you sit at the bar, they DO take care of you though. I also like the jukebox as you have a choice of music. All in all, go have a beer at the bar, then go eat at Tequila Joe’s :)

Well well… tried this place since it’s close to home. I’m in my mid 30s and way over clubbing yet no fuddy duddy– but this place was a meat market for the middle aged. Which, fine, I can handle that. Came here with my parents, husband and friends and we had the WORST server in the world. I can take bad service because I have been in the industry but she was so terrible that we flagged down a girl and asked if she could wait on us. She did so that took care of that even though in an hour we had the server come to our table maybe 2 times. Anyways, then the band came in… While I LOVE live music and bands, this place is too small for such loud music and the volume the speakers are on. It is so loud you cant think… and especiall for my mom. It was so bad she said she is never coming back when there is a band and we had to leave one time because of it. That aside, food is pretty decent and cant go wrong with drinks– the deck is also amazing on a nice day… disappointed cuz this couldhave been a great place.
