Very expensive food. Microwave canned tasting stuff. Just straight up gross!

The only reason I give it two stars is the fried ice cream is the best in the world. The service is bad-and it is the is not really Mexican. We go when family is in town because it’s a tradition but that’s it

Used to go here once or twice a week before it moved. Still a spot I hit up when in town. I love the salsa and nachos. Quality is not where it used to be but these two items are still excellent.

Don’t let the previous reviews impact your decision to try this place. Ownership has changed in the past year. A true Parkersburg icon, the food is like the original Dons and the prices are very reasonable. Check out Family Night on Tuesdays! Nachos Supreme with extra cheese is the best!

Wish I could give less than one star. Save your money Taco Bell is better.

Taco Bell is more Mexican than this. Waitress was nice, service was good. Food was horrible. I’ve had microwave burritos reheated that were better. Don’t eat here.

The greeter didn’t smile and wasn’t very pleasant. I got a shredded chicken quesadilla. More like mushed chicken with canned white cheddar cheese poured over. Awful. The salsa was also not very good… bland and odd tasting. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The only reason I ate it was because I was hungry. The prices were cheap. but like many products today… you get what you pay for. The only good about this place was my server. She was very nice and I didn’t have to wait long for service. Although, she seemed a bit unaware of the foods they serve. She referred to the cheese sauces as «white and yellow». BOO!

Coming from Colorado which has a fairly good offering of tex-mex restaurants, I was highly disappointed. The service wasn’t horrible although the restaurant seemed to be short staff. The main problem was the food and menu. There was no variety and after ordering a chilé-réno I got something that looked like it had been barfed onto the plate. You could tell everything had been canned an was poured out. Additionally, I felt as though I was eating cardboard. My mom ordered a cheese enchilada and they brought it out cover with nacho cheese. The kind that you get from a baseball game. Yuck! If I had known any better I would have gone to McDonalds across the street, then I might have not wanted to barf as I was eating it.

Salsa was fresh, no spice to it. Had the mexican pizza for an appetizer, not bad, beats Taco Bell. I had the chimichanga, gf had the fajitas, again, both were fair, no spice for flavor, rather bland, sour cream and guacamole came out in plastic cups like it was takeout. Not a great dine, but not horrible either, service was fair to good, not excellent. 3 stars.

I’ve been here twice now when in town visiting my in-laws and both times have not been very good. The service is slow and unfriendly and the food is not only unauthentic, but not very tasty either. The El Presidente trio of enchiladas was a major disappointment. The cheese enchilada was topped with liquid nacho cheese, the«spicy chicken» enchilada seemed to be filled with canned, minced chicken, but the beef/pork enchilada did have a decent sauce on it. The margaritas were decent and the chips & salsa were just okay. Their prices are reasonable, but unless my in-laws drag us back here, I wouldn’t return.

Can’t recommend this place there are at least 3 other Mexican restraints better than this one within a 2 mile radius.

Simply put do not go here! Not one Spanish person! Yucky food, Fajita veggies are raw not grilled!
