Awesome! Hubby & I had a late breakfast(me)/lunch(him) there a couple days ago. The food was very good and filling. And cheap too! And the waitress was very attentive and friendly. We will be returning soon!

What can I say this is your quintessential diner experience; the food is great, the service is fast & friendly, and they have breakfast all day. I could go on about how great a place this is, but it would be over-kill and really, what more do you need to try the Omelet Shoppe. Go for an omelet or go for a burger; just go! I do have a word of warning for folks that are a bit claustrophobic, it is a small place and is seated for maximum occupancy, so take a xanax before you go and enjoy your food.

Not a bad place to eat. You can watch them make your food since they cook it right in front of bar. Breakfast 24⁄7 and there burgers are like most mom and pop restaurant. Waitresses are very polite and nice.

Tony and I went here for breakfast after our stay at the Red Roof Inn. I could smell the aroma when I came out of the hotel room. Tony went with fried eggs, sausage, biscuits and sausage with coffee and milk. I went with a fried egg, toast and bacon with grits and hot tea. It was pretty good and the waitress was really nice and attentive. This was an old Waffle House at one time. and it’s just a laid back diner open 24 hrs. I would definitely go here again and again. .the prices are very moderate.

Personal thought that this is the closet thing to a diner in Parkersburg sorta a poor mans Waffle House. The staff seems friendly mainly if your a regular. Food isn’t terrible honestly the steak omelette is surprisingly awesome!

Great food. Not the cleanest nor easiest to access locations, but when traveling on Christmas this place was open and the service was fast. More importantly the quality of the food was better than the big chain Waffle House which this place is a knock-off of.

Their new fresh steak burgers are the best in town specially with the crinkle cut fries and you can’t get any better anywhere else for the price anywhere around this town, trust me.

Stayed at the Red Roof Inn right next door so it was a convenient stop for breakfast on the way out of town. Seating was easy, service was fast, food was meh, coffee was terrible. Eggs and bacon were fine, hashbrowns were frozen and pre-formed, coffee was Maxwell House(they still exist?). This place is clearly a hit with the locals because the waitress asked if I even needed a menu. Bonus points for breakfast 24-hours a day(they have sandwiches and other lunch-type items as well)! That said, for a diner-while-traveling-that-I-would-never-eat-at-normally, I wish I had gone to Bob Evans.

Nearly raw hash browns, stale waffle that was rubbery, barely warm toast, greasy eggs, warmed over insufficiently cooked«omelet»… Literally one of the worst meals we’ve ever paid for. Avoid this place at all costs. Not a hidden gem, just keep it under a rock.

very solid little restaurant, especially since it’s walking distance from the Red Roof Inn. their steak and hamburgers are good, but don’t forget to play a round of Big Game Hunter before leaving. those Keyser deer have it coming!

You might overlook this place for its looks, but don’t. They are very nice and attentive. The food was really good. They even made my son a Mickey Mouse pancake. Their coffee was fresh even at 3:30. Nice relaxing stop during our long road trip.

Awesome little breakfast place. I stopped here for breakfast in the morn. It isn’t much to look at, but don’t be fooled. The food is good and the service is solid. My wife had the Country Boy omelette and really enjoyed it and I had the Ollie’s Supreme omelette and liked it quite a bit myself. The large orange juice us an actual large orange juice, no skimping here. They also have a variety of sauces available upon request.

The restaurant doesn’t look impressive from outside and it’s fairly plain inside. However, the service and the food was good! On the service side, the waitress was attentive and expedient. Our order was delivered to the table within 5 – 6 minutes while the restaurant was ¾ full. That’s impressive! We ordered breakfast and the quality was adequate to good. If you are in the area, it’s worth stopping by…

Review 8.4.13.(Sunday Morning) Upon arrival, we roughly found a table(it was packed), and waited about 7 minutes for our waitress to arrive, but she was friendly and had a sense of humor. She took our drink orders, and returned with them and we ordered. I ordered the 2 eggs and sausage, with hash browns and a biscuit. The eggs were some of the best I’ve had at a restaurant, and sausage patties melted in my mouth! The hash browns were excellent, and they gave you a hardy portion of them to. The biscuit however, weren’t that great, compared to other restaurant’s in the areas biscuits, but were editable. Our waitress was nice and all, but wasn’t too attentive… My family’s only complaint, was that the waitresses did not wear hair nets, and were walking around the kitchen like that. Their hair did not look like it was well taken care of, and looked like it could fall off on to the food. The restaurant was not very clean, therefore leaving an unappetizing feeling.

This place has really good omlettes! I had one and the taste and texture were great. I got a ham-n-cheese one and added extra bacon(which is 2 dollars more). It was yummy. The prev visits I ordered steaks and they were very good. Very soft and moist. went great with A1 sauce. The fries are good too, a little on the mushy side, but still good. I once ordered a chicken strip combo with fries and the strips were easy to eat. not much to say here. The only downsides are the place does not look the best and can get crowded at breakfast time. the place is not the biggest place to eat at, but that kinda adds to its charm. If you feel like eggs at 4AM and a steak this is the place to go. much better then truck stop food. :-) The waitresses were average for a place like this but were still pleasant for the most part. None of them seemed rude. I will definitely recommend this place. :-)
