Love this place– I haven’t eaten at the restaurant, but always order to pick up! The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. I love this food– the rice, the dumplings, the beef lo mein!

My meal tasted good. I had the spicy lobster roll with brown rice, which wasn’t earth shattering or original, but was good considering the price. The staff were friendly. I will return — mainly because it is nearby my girlfriends apartment.

Used to come here back in the day and the food was great. I am never one to write a bad review. Just had lunch and i was very disappointed. There are only 3 other tables in the restaurant with two servers and the waitress still couldn’t fill up my water and she was very rude. The red curry was very bland and the tom kha khai soup had no flavor either. Unfortunately I will not be coming back. Go down the street to blue fin or sushi yoshee for a quality meal.

Everything was just okay. The sushi was okay and our meals and appetizers were okay, along with the service. Granted the size of the portions are pretty grade school in comparison to the prices we paid. We had a Groupon, which is why we went. Not sure I wouldn go back.

I go to Japango as often as possible! The best sushi and staff around town! Pricey but definitely worth is. My favorite roll is the TGIF Roll. yummmmm!

My first time ordering and we did take out, I am usually skeptical about take out sushi but this was so good! Everything was very fresh and delicious. I am new to the area and I will be making this my go to Sushi Spot! Some rolls are a little pricey… we got the standard rolls and they were absolutely delicious!

Consistently have great meals here. I’ve gone several occasions for dinner and have had great experiences. The ambience is nice, staff is friendly, and service is efficient. I went tonight with a group of people and everyone was pleased with their orders. I got a seaweed salad and the smoked salmon roll. It was a unique roll on their menu and was really good. Am looking forward to going back again soon.

Tonight had Shrimp and Lobster dumpling soup. TERRIBLE. Very salty water with some stale dumplings thatasted days old Red Chicken Curry was strange, sweet like it had corn syrup in it. Veggies were fresh. Very disappointing. This used to be a fabulous dish here. Must be a new chef. Sushi was outstanding.

Love this place. Good mix of Asian fusion food including sushi, entrees, and nice appetizers. Sometimes, we’ll just go and get a few appetizers for a totally satisfying meals. Sushi is awesome too. We’ve been there so much that we’ve gone through most of the menu items and we haven’t hit a bad dish yet. We enjoyed it so much, that we sought out the Boca and DelRay locations with similar success.

Japango in Parkland, is very accessible and with a lot of parking. Food is great but staff is not the friendliest! If i had a similar option closed to my house i would rather go there.

Have been here a few times and it has been okay in the past. Ordered takeout for lunch last week(sushi/sashimi lunch special) and some of the fish was not that fresh and found a dragonfly wing in my salad. Gross. Safe to say I probably won’t be returning because it scarred me and it would be all I think about if I returned.

This was our second time we had gone to Japango and it didn’t disappoint! We had the spicy lobster roll(pictured), fried rice, and chicken pad Thai. It was all delicious! The first time we were there I tried the panag curry with chicken and that was really good. I think the fried rice is the best fried rice I’ve tasted. Small place with a chill vibe. The service was good and fast. Highly recommend!

I have been to Japango two times and felt the first time was better than the second. I wish I could give you a 3.5 stars which I feel is what you should get. There really wasn’t anything wrong with service or food even though I felt that the sauce overwhelmed my plate. Great selection, nice and friendly staff, large area and clean are all pluses.

Another Japanese food experience let down. Seriously, what is wrong with sushi places in South Florida!!! Food was okay but the service was horrible.

They have 2 rooms. Main room is nice. 2nd room is more lounge like. Ive had their pad Thai and its was ok and a bit greasy. Fried rice is good . I also had the Tuna Tartar sushi and its fresh and delicious. Cocktails are always made good.

I had three dishes here from the sushi menu and they all were delicious and very well put-together! Appetizer: Spicy tuna crispy rice. I love crispy rice at home and this didn’t disappoint. If you’ve never had crisped rice before, don’t expect something like rice krispy treats. It’s not crackers crunchy, it’s more of a toothy texture. Salmon Marco Roll: DELICIOUS. Expect a buttery, melt-in-your mouth flavor from the salmon belly. Tuna Katsu roll: pretty good in flavors, but the Katsu could’ve been a bit crispier. The service was quite quick despite it being so busy on the Friday night I went. It’s a small place, and there would’ve been a wait for a table so my partner and I sat at the bar. I can’t wait to come back and try some more of the signature rolls!

I’ve seen so many great reviews for this restaurant and was thrilled to see a Groupon! The Groupon was $ 20 for $ 40 worth of food. For 50% off — you can’t beat that. For appetizers, I ordered the California roll and my boyfriend ordered the katsu tuna roll. I’m not a huge sushi fan, hence the reason why I ordered the California roll. I thought the California roll was pretty good, but it’s not that hard to mess up a California roll. My boyfriend said the katsu tuna roll was one of the best rolls he’s ever had. He was highly impressed! For entrees, I ordered the udon stir fry with chicken and my boyfriend ordered the Mongolian beef. The udon stir fry was amazing. It was very tasty and piled high with an assortment of fresh vegetables. My boyfriend said the Mongolian beef was really good. We are typically used to the way Pei Wei &PF Changs makes the Mongolian beef, but this was pretty comparable(and that says a lot). Overall: the service was good but could be improved, the food was delicious, the prices are reasonable(and even better when there’s a Groupon).

I had been to this Japango BY(before Unilocal,or at least before I Unilocaled) and liked it, so when Groupon was offering 20% off local deals, and there was one for Japango I hopped on. This Japango is located in a cute little plaza in Parkland, though I think everything it Parkland is cute. We were seated immediately on a Thursday night. The atmosphere in here is nice. The décor is modern and clean, and also relaxing. We ordered a bottle of wine, and though they were out of a few of the bottles on their wine list, we were able to find something we liked. The menu is quite large. They have sushi as well as kitchen items in an assortment of Japanese and Thai themes, and there are plenty of vegetarian and gluten free choices highlighted. We stuck to the sushi end of the menu. To start I ordered the salmon tower. This is the first time I had seen this. I love tuna towers, and I like salmon even better. The tower was served with taro and wonton chips. I enjoyed it, but the salmon needed a little salt, it could easily be adjusted with the soy sauce at the table, but I am used to my tuna towers coming pre-seasoned. As a meal I ordered the sushi and sashimi dinner, with which I had the choice of soup or salad. I chose the miso soup and it was yummy, though pretty Americanized with a few noodles in the broth. When I recieved the dinner I realized what a great deal it was around $ 20 because it was HUGE. It comes with 6 pieces of sashimi, 5 pieces of sushi, and a spicy tuna roll, and they didn’t skimp on anything. I think with an appetizer we perhaps could have split this, but I powered through and ate most of it. My boyfriend ordered the lobster bomb. Whenever the word lobster is involved you are looking at at upcharge, and his roll was around $ 25, but it was huge and presentation was lovely. Service here is good and the dinner was a nice relaxing date night out. We did run up a little bit of a bill, but the Groupon helped, and to be fair we did have a bottle of wine, an app, and some of the more expensive menu items. I would for sure come back for the sushi/sashimi dinner, and I really thought the salmon sashimi was excellent. I should note almost every diner in there was using a Groupon this particular night, so check the deals before you pay full price.

I have been a few times and the sushi always taste fresh! Very nice, causal restauraunt. They have Sashami pizza to start which is really good as well as edaname! They have alot of spacial rolls and they are bigger than most! All were amazing, if you like spicy I suggest the spicy scallop roll and the spicy tuna roll was amazing! Looking forward to coming again. The service was fast and gave good suggestions as well.

First & last time here. Came by with a Groupon & figured we’d give it a shot since we’re new to the area. When we first came in no one greeted us & waited for a few mins. We asked around & finally someone came & seated us. Finally after 15 mins our server showed up barely spoke English! Fml! We ordered water w/lemon & we got water w/lime. No beverage selections for kids. Only soda & some nasty OJ. We finally ordered our food & took forever & a day to arrive. The place was empty so wasn’t sure what the deal was. Everyone else around us got there after us & got there order way before us. Food didn’t taste fresh & wasn’t all that for the $, & service sucked! We do not recommend Japango, w/or w/out a groupon. BLUFIN near by kicks ass & publix makes better sushi than Japango.
