This place is a «Fonda» type restaurant. Authentic Mexican food. Love to come here for the«antojitos» or favorites; like sopes($ 2ea), taquitos dorados($ 1 an order), enchiladas($ 1/order). They also have entrees like made from scratch spicy mole with tamales nejos, birria en consome, asesina, aporriadío. Seafood as well; coctel de camaron and mojarra frita. Beers and Mexican sodas served. If all that doesn’t convince you to go, just think homemade tortillas! The owner is super nice and friendly, she’s been in Parlier for a long time. She always makes my visit enjoyable.

Horrible Customer service. Walked in and sat down for 10 minutes and no server came to take my order. The place was also empty at the time. Server was was fiddling with the soda machine but didn’t bother to offer me any drink or menu

Camarones al Mojo de Ajo, or garlic butter shrimp is one of my favorite things to get at a Mexican restaurant. There are places that do a passing job, and then there are places that hit it on the head perfectly. This is one of those places. El Camino Real has made the most satisfying Camarones al Mojo de Ajo that I’ve had in awhile. Their garlic butter blend is both smooth on the palate but flavorful enough to really make you crave more. The shrimp is butterflied beautifully and just soaks up the flavor. They pan grill it so that it has a satisfying crisp to it. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves garlic and shrimp. I can’t wait to come back and try the rest of their menu.
