Delicious food! And the menu keeps growing! I love this place! This is a great place to order from on a Friday night! Haven’t had any time that the food wasn’t delish!

This is the second time I tried this place. The counter guy was very nice. I did specify no onions and he definitely put that into the computer. I got plenty of onions in the salad and the Lamb shawarma however. After I saw the meat, I now remember why it’s been so long and havnt been back. It is very dry and has little flavor, except for the tahini sauce. The problem I have is there is a picture of the meat rotisserie that you normally see in these restaurants. This meat was not fresh off the spit. To be honest, it taste like something I could’ve probably made myself. And that’s far from a complement. It took a long time for them to prepare my meal, which leads me to believe they were defrosting this meat. I’m not sure this place will be around much longer, never see anyone in there. Not sure the food is as authentic as it should be.

I was on a low carb diet so he created a lettuce wrap Kofka with babaganosh. Very tasty and seasoned to perfection. He also made some tea that he gave me for free. Very nice flavored tea. Very nice staff.

My wife and I took out two gyros for lunch. This was a pleasant surprise. All ingredients were fresh and very tasty. I am looking forward to going back and dining in to try some other items on the menu!

Iam from Saudi Arabia and this is literally the only place you can find the same mediterranean taste. I have tried alot of mediterranean restraunts in America but this is the best one i’ve ever been too. The food is perfect and the best thing is that everything is Halal.

The lamb shawarma platter with tahini sauce over rice is what keeps me coming back over and over again! If you’re the adventurous type, order the homemade(awesome!)hot sauce on the side. Excellent service from friendly staff.

Great food and lovely people, but they had some technical issues when we ordered from there last week. And I’m not out to put them on blast; I just think these are things customers need to know. First of all, I placed the order online. An hour and a half went by and nothing, no phone call, no delivery. Finally, my husband called to check on things. Because of printer issues, they didn’t receive the order until right when he called. And they didn’t have delivery that night, even though their menu and website say they do. The person on the phone added some bread and salad to help make things right, so I’ll give credit where it’s due. The food is top notch, and I’m glad there’s somewhere in the area again for hummus and falafel. Just be prepared to pick up your food if not dining in, and you have to call to place your orders rather than using their website.

It’s official. Food poisoning ! I just threw it all up. Not cool! I even took home humus and baba ghanoush … That’s going straight in the garbage!

Oh boy… Shame on me for setting my expectations too high; when I saw the American counter girl I should’ve known… But when the menu offered mac n’ cheese, chicken fingers, french fries and Mexican fajitas, I REALLY should’ve gotten the hint! My wife and I ordered the gyro and kebab respectively and my daughters got the mac n’ cheese and hamburger. I have to say, the Kraft mac n’ cheese was the absolute best thing on our table. The kabab meat was tough and over seasoned and the rice came out of a box. The gyro meat(since it was just previously unfrozen) was actually not that bad, but the burger was burnt. The service was fine. The American countergirl/waitress/bus girl was very pleasant. But the cook left the bathroom without washing his hands(the toilet flushed and he came walking out simultaneously). Another problem with the meal was that each dish, for some reason, came out one at a time; there was no order or coordination in the place, and they took remarkably long make each dish. Plus, there was swearing and disarray coming from the kitchen. Price was fairly reasonable, except for the fact that they charged $ 3 for a glass of juice. Other than that the pricing was just fine. Greatest part of the experience was the very nice counter girl and the extremely comfortable seats. 100% would never return… even if it was a free treat from a friend :(

I’ve been to the Middle East and was excited to see this place to give it a try since I enjoyed the food over there. Plus I lived in the Netherlands so I used to get Schwarma/gyros/kebabs all the time so my expectations are pretty high. I ordered the chicken and lamb schwarma platters. The meat was bland but it was juicy at least. The portions were tiny which makes them extremely overpriced. I could get a huge schwarma for 4 – 5 € over there. This play you’re paying almost double. Besides the price and portion it was good meal. Second time I had Habibys I tried to order online. It had an outrageous amount I had to order for them to deliver, I can’t remember exactly but I’m pretty sure it was $ 35 worth of food. It was good but doesn’t compare to the ones you get in Europe and the Middle East.

I came back to try the shawarma platter, as recommended by the owner after my last review. I recall paying around 13 – 14 $ for it. But it was delicious, but still a little over priced IMO. 3.5 stars/5

Ordered food to go. Décor inside was very simple… I felt like I waited longer than I should have for my Kafka platter, kibbi, and taboleh. The food was tasty, not the best I’ve ever had, but did the trick for my craving. I do think it was a bit over priced. My only actual complaint was the salad that came with my Kafka. I didn’t eat it.

How do you screw up your rice with meat and almonds? By forgetting the almonds. How do you screw up the rest of the meal? By doing it on two dishes and forgetting the hummus for a third. Browning lettuce in the salads were the last straw. There’s too many businesses out there that are struggling for my dollar for me to keep putting up with this. This is the last time I will order from here. It’s the third time they have got an order wrong, omitted something major and I didn’t realize it until I got home. I paid $ 30 for a falafel platter, a shawerma platter and a side of rice with almonds and meat. I really wanted to like this place. I love the cuisine and it’s hard to find locally. Looks like I will have to keep looking.

Started off with appetizers of grape leaves and cheese borek. Both were very good and fresh. I was hoping that would be an indication of the main entrees but it wasnt. Meats were overly seasoned and the rice pilaf had no seasoning. Additionally both entrees were luke warm which was weird considering it took forever for them to come out. Don’t think we will be back.

I came in with hopes for some awesome, authentic falafel for lunch yesterday and left with a bad taste in my mouth. Food: I will come back to try the shwarma but the falafel lunch pita was depressingly underwhelming. The falafel itself was just above room temperature, wrapped in a pita with tomatoes and lettuce. Within seconds of handling it, the damn thing crumbled into oblivion. The pita was razor thin and toasted to the point of cracking, making it a terrible choice to deliver what shouldve been a delicious meal. Atmosphere: There were some questionable management decisions going on here. Loud construction going on in the dining/cashier area at lunch? Maybe you should close down for a day or let the customer know when they sit down. Also, I was the only one seated at the time and yet it took longer for me to get my food than a gentleman who walked in and ordered 5 pitas to go. Not cool. Finally, $ 10 minimum on credit card… I absolutely understand for takeout but for lunch? Why do you have a $ 6.50 lunch then? Add to that credit card machine breaks down as I am trying to now rush out of here and no one in the building knows any alternative. All in all disappointing.

Went here last night for dinner at 8:15 pm. Walked into the freezing cold restaurant and there was a bicycle on the path from the front door to the counter. I should have took that as a sign to walk out right then; however, I didn’t. I walked up to the counter and was told by someone that looked about 10 years old I could sit anywhere in the empty restaurant. So my girlfriend and I sat ourselves. Soon as we sat we were given menus and drink orders were taken by another younger person(not in any particularly identifying uniform, didn’t tell us her name, and didn’t greet). They do have a bunch of drinks, but they gave it to us in the bottle. No glass with the bottle, no straw, just plopped two plastic bottles on the table and and walked away. So we took a look at the menu and figured out what we wanted pretty much right away. Then we started waiting. We waited for about ten minutes. In that time we hear giggling, talking, and laughing coming from the kitchen area, but not a single person came out to check on us. Now the time is 8:28 pm and finally the 10 year old behind the counter reappears and shouts from the counter to the table if we are ready to order. We say yes and she disappears into the back. Another two minutes lapse and nobody is to be found anywhere. We still hear noise of a lively conversation from the kitchen but nobody to check on us. That is when we started a countdown. I said five minutes. Five minutes more and my girlfriend and I both agreed that we would leave. Time started at 8:30 pm. At 8:35 pm still nobody had come out to take our order. The place closes at 9 pm. At what point was a food order going to be taken, prepared and served so that we could eat? Was the plan that if left alone in the restaurant for a long time that they could say it was too late to order? Who knows! We were excited to try this place out when we had walked in. We ended up leaving cash on the table for our drinks and left annoyed that we sat around for 20 minutes without someone taking a food order. All in all, the food may be good here. I wouldn’t know because nobody came to take my order. I may try this place again but with such crap service, I would stick to takeout. Definitely wouldn’t try eating inside this freezing cold, inattentive restaurant.
