Paul was very flexible on short notice and was willing to work with our schedule. He got there an hour early and covered the whole outside so he would be ready to explain it to us when we got there! He spent a good two and a half hours walking us through the house and assigning everything to one of seven easily understood categories. He also gave us a home maintenance checklist that’s perfect for us as first-time home buyers. Thorough, high standards, and gives a great picture of what needs to be fixed immediately and what can wait for later down the road! Highly recommended.

Hands down spectacular. I’m not an expert on home inspections but can tell when a person really loves his job and wants to treat you like he wants to be treated – the best he can. He is very knowledgeable looking through each nook and cranny and educating as he is going. He jumps quickly around the house looking for any defects not to worry you but to really make sure you know what you are buying into. After this we were able to renegotiate the price of the house for several thousand dollars less since it was fair that some major repairs would eventually need to be made and was not a factor in the initial negotiation. He also followed up on the phone on things a week later since he had suggested a more thorough inspection of the basement by a structural engineer; His followup on what the engineer found shows he was looking for the feedback and knowledge to even be better skilled at what he does– truly a mark of a great professional. Paul was courteous, polite, professional, thorough, informative, and most importantly during my inspection, he was patient. I was sick during the walk through and had to pause on more than one occasion and Paul never made me feel like I was wasting his time. He worked hard to see all he could and explain pretty much everything. I only wish I had had more questions for him, but with the way I was feeling I couldn’t think straight. He followed up to make sure everything was well and helped me feel better about what I was getting into (for good and bad… I now understand). I would recommend anytime.
