This is the best breakfast place in the Ellenton/Parrish area! We had some friends in from out of town and came here both Saturday and Sunday. Their homemade biscuits are amazing and their skillets are great as well! Super friendly family owned business!

This is a nice family operated business. Our breakfast included biscuits, sausage gravy, eggs over easy, and a vegetarian egg casserole. The food was good, the atmosphere was comfortable, the service was personable, and the price was reasonable. We will visit again if we drive through the area.

I went to this place for a quick lunch. The first thing I noticed was how busy they were and how friendly the staff were. I intentionally ordered something I am not fond of to really run this place through its paces, the gyro. I must say the Gyro was excellent and once again made me challenge my taste buds and keep an open mind. From what I’m told the owner is Greek and this comes as no surprise when it was recommended to me and was so great. We also tried the BLT which is a very simple dish but it was also great. The Cole slaw was nice and crispy defines you fresh made and not too Mayo-ie like some others I have had. If you are in the area give this place a shot its worth it.

This place is always packed so I wanted to try it. I was shocked as we were walking up to see the old-school thick plastic table coverings and when we walked in it was so small and tight. No one was at the hostess stand but we were greeted immediately by a friendly server who walked us to a booth near the«back». I ordered the apple cinnamon French toast and was so disappointed because although it was a massive portion it was so dry. I was anticipating some ooey gooey warm cinnamon apples w/brown sugar over perfectly flavored French toast but it was virtually flavorless; the apples didn’t even have natural sweetness. And the«scrambled cheese eggs» we’re a waste. The cheese was haphazardly thrown on top of the eggs which weren’t scrambled very well(Waffle House still has the best eggs ever). The chocolate chip pancakes were great though. I’ll definitely get pancakes if we return. Sadly, it was obvious why the Help Wanted sign was in the window because service was slow; friendly but VERY slow. Our poor server was obviously overwhelmed because she keep apologizing to the table behind us for their missing food and slow service. Then a line had formed at the hostess counter for people to pay because no one was there to help. I really wanted to love this place but I couldn’t(there was nothing to love). Witnessing the displeasure on most of the patrons faces was disheartening. The girls working were really doing their best. If the owner reads this: This is a tourist area so to accommodate more people it would behoove you to serve turkey options(either turkey bacon or turkey sausage). And I know you’re short staffed but I’d rather wait than have some guy come form the back cleaning tables while he’s hacking up lougies. I was so grossed out. He didn’t even bother to cover his mouth(thank goodness we were done eating because I may have flipped out).

After all the reviews I couldn’t wait to try this restaurant! We went on a Sunday morning around 10−11am…the wait wasn’t bad. about 10min and we were seated. The restaurant is small and cozy, completely packed and wait staff can barely make it between tables. I noticed the sign mentioned in a previous review«help wanted» still up! We ordered the big fat Greek skillet, side of grits, biscuit, blueberry pancakes with eggs and bacon. We waited exactly 40min before the food was served. Our waitress was friendly but after she brought our drinks she didn’t check in with us again until the food was served… The potions are incredible, however my skillet was.ehh.ok, nothing exciting. bunch of ingredients that didn’t have a «uniting» flavor. eggs, hash brown, feta cheese, gyro meat. it was blah and flavorless… barely ate it! The grits were good. once I added salt and butter. the eggs and bacon were fine the pancakes were another miss. The description says blueberries on top, it was blueberries and a load of blueberry sauce all over the pancakes socked! Had to move them to a clean plate to add a little syrup and eat them! I wasn’t impressed. and most likely won’t be going back.

Excellent food, efficient friendly service, colorful Florida artwork on the walls — how can you beat that? Oh, yeah — amazing prices, too! Our party of four had an enormous lunch(meat lovers’ omelet, New Orleans salad with blackened shrimp, southern fried chicken, and the cowboy sandwich) for about $ 40 — even among the value-oriented breakfast and lunch places that abound in this area, that’s pretty great. Make sure to try the homemade ranch dressing — aside from salad, it also goes great with the crispy battered fries!

One of the best breakfast spots in Parrish. Quick in and out. Food generous portioned and good. If you want soup for breakfast or meatloaf it’s available. Wait staff are nice. Saturday and Sunday go early. Restrooms very clean.

We used Unilocal to help find a local breakfast spot, and once again we were thrilled to find such a great place! I had the 3 egg omelet, and my husband had the meat louvers casserole. They were both amazing! Especially the casserole that was recommended to us! Great spot, great service, great food!

I moved here a few months ago and found my new favorite breakfast/brunch spot with Butterfields! Everything is so delicious, especially their skillets(Sorry but I refuse to try anything else, I’m just hooked on their skillets!). The skillets are always 2 meals for me if that tells you their portion sizes. The staff are very accommodating and always checking on you and making sure your drinks are full. Get there early or it will be packed. It can get a little noisy in there but nothing wrong with people enjoying their meals and family time at the same time, it’s better than no one speaking to each other and looking at their phones!!! Great place and I am so glad they’re close by!

Came here with 5 kids. They all had the Mickey pancakes which were out quickly and also delicious. Our waiter, Danielle, was timely and attentive to the kids. My omelette was great, I got the bacon and sausage omelette and to top it off… THESEBISCUITSWEREAMAZING! The price for 7 of us was under 50 bucks.

Typical breakfast place. Sausage was tasty(deep fried that’s why). Pancakes, more like flap jacks, yuck! Fresh fruit. Friend had omlete, subpar. Bacon, yum! Biscuits homemade(those deserve a 5 star). Server awesome –danielle!
