Pulled pork that melts in your mouth, rib meat that falls off the bone, homemade sauce that compliments this tender meat, and sides that only a mother could make with pure love! Love love the food here. We get take out for lunch so yummy. Nothing beats homemade southern take away. Get there early guys it gets crowded and busy.

Generous portions, friendly and helpful service, and the overwhelming smell of absolutely stunning BBQ. Not to be outdone by the delicious meat, the sides delight the senses (most notably the collard greens, mac and cheese, and fried okra). Shady outoor seating completes a great meal.

Home style cooking at its best! Smells great as you drive up. Ample parking around back. Super clean inside and out, but minimal seating. Lots of picnic tables, outside. That’s OK as many folks are interested in takeout!
The staff is friendly and efficient! We ordered a pound of pulled pork and they were quick on the service! It was outstanding — could hardly stand the delicious aroma during the car trip home! They make their own sauces — the sweet and saucy blend was perfect! Wish we had ordered more sides, just to sample them all! We ordered two — the fried okra was good, but the garlicky new potatoes was absolutely amazing!!! They, also, offer ribs and bbq chicken, as well as pie!!!
I just guess we will be returning soon to try more items on the menu, as we were so pleased with our first experience!

Just ok. No beef bbq choice on menu. The pork here is greasy. Side choices are good. Atmosphere just ok. Staff personality more like a walk in clinic. Try smiling! Mediocre bbq joint but certainly nothing to write home about.

Ribs are great. The rest is just ok. Tons of butter. Wish they were more friendly being in a small town, they could really have a great thing if they would embrace the small town feel!

Their food is AWESOME! Their staff is AWESOME! They are very efficient and friendly and know how to BBQ! I will definitely be back!

Wow! We ordered chicken and ribs to cater my fathers b-​day party. It was AWSOME! The best chicken I’ve ever had! The smoked wings were incredible they should be on the regular menu for sure. I can’t wait to have C&K again. On a side note the place is spotless clean.

Outstanding pork bar-​b-​que. And Mac and cheese is one of those items like mom made — so it’s great comfort food. Took a couple dinners to Niece and her husband that just had baby and they enjoyed

Fatty food that has been sitting in a steamer for a while waiting for someone to come in. Not many cars in the partying lot as I drive by… Now I know why.

The best! First time for me, great foid, great folks! Will definitely going back! The portions are huge, the smokiness permeates the sir and tempts your taste buds for sure! Cannot wait to nibble on our leftovers!!!

This is one of my favorite BBQ places. Simple menu, but damn good ribs, sauce and sides. I highly recommend this place.

We heard from several of our neighbors the BBQ was simply outstanding and a «must try».
We decided to have a late lunch and stopped on the way home from shopping last week.
First impression upon entering– small, very clean, family owned operation.
Second impression– after looking up and reviewing the menu, prices to high!
Ordered BBQ pork sandwich two sides, Mac and Cheese and Okra. My wife ordered the same.
Third impression– the BBQ pork was simply just ok. The sauces were mild. Hot spicy sauce does not exist. Mac and Cheese contained large amounts of salt. The Okra was fine.
The employees waiting on us did not go out of there way with friendliness. There were no smiles or thank you’s. The service was quick, but they didn’t seem to be happy that I was patronizing their place of business and giving them money! I don’t know if we will return. There are far too many other places to eat where we can get a smile and thank you for spending our money.

Very friendly and polite. Food was well worth the 5 mile drive from I-​75. I’ve had a Bunch of BBQ and this is up there with the best.

Decent BBQ. Sauces are good and they gave you plenty of food. My teenage boys were full and that says a lot ;-)
No beef brisket, just chicken, ribs, and pulled pork.
Prices are fair and will be going back.

Tasty and quaint is how I would explain this BBQ place! Located in Parrish, this restaurant has a very «family owned & run» feel. I ordered a ½ pound of the pulled pork and it was great! I topped it with their homemade «sweet & spicy» sauce and was very impressed. Just the pork alone was great, but I tried some of my Mom’s side dishes, as well. She had a garlic-​butter mashed potato side that was delightful. Highly recommend!

My husband and I love this place. Best southern BBQ in the area and consistently moist meats. The sides are excellent as well. I love the potato salad and my husband is very fond of the Mac and cheese. Service has always been positive and the pricing is competitive.

The pulled pork is average to slightly below.
The service leaves much to be desired. I ordered two pulled pork sandwiches and asked for slaw on them which is very common in some parts of the south. I was told they would not put slaw on my sandwiches if I wanted slaw I would have to purchase a side order and then I could put it on myself. This was all said in a very surly manner. I won’t be back.

Yummy! Ordered the Queen platter for take out and it tempted us with delicious smells the entire drive home.
The mac n cheese (strands of ooey gooey cheese with each forkfull) and the ribs (fall off the bone tender) were my favorite but everything was very very good. The meat is smoked and sauceless. A good sized container of bbq sauce will accompany your order to augment your saucy desires.
The business is shiny clean and the staff is nice.
Next time we’ll have to give the pie a shot!

I have to say, I used to like C&K. That was then, now I think I have had better at Sonny’s.
I went to C&K on ⁹⁄₁₇ and ordered ½ rack of ribs and a pulled pork lunch with fried okra and greens. The ribs did have a smoke flavor, but they were nothing special, in fact, I have made better at home. The pulled pork was totally flavorless. No smoke flavor at all. The greens were sweet, like sugary sweet. I was raised on collard greens and sugary has never been a way to describe them. The fried okra was obviously store bought.
Save yourself a trip. They do not have brisket and the pork is atrocious. I won’t be back again.
