The River Wilderness Club

Awesome club! Wonderful people and good food. Very nice clubhouse on its way to being beautiful. The golf course is top notch and very challenging. No wonder the LPGA plays here! And what a great community!!! It’s tranquil, has mature landscaping with not-​boring winding roads, is well maintained and always being improved, has very reasonable fees, offers direct access river lots with new homes if you prefer boating (The Islands), has all the country club amenities, and is located just outside the traffic-​jammed areas that have exploded south of here. Soooo glad I got out of Lakewood Ranch!!! It took me nearly as long to get to the same shopping before as it does from here. Hard to believe, but true! And now, with the great new stores and restaurants permitted on 301, most everything will be out my back door. And if you need to use TPA Int’l. Airport, it’s a whole lot closer. What a convenience! And the best thing of all… you can get a new (The Islands), or almost new (Savannah Lakes), house here with the same amenities as LWR for ²⁄₃ the price on a better lot, in a prettier community, with some of the same, or more quality builders here. AND MANATEE WATER AND TAXES with NO CDD FEES!!! I got the same size house on a same size lot (but much nicer) for $ 1M compared to $ 1.6M for stinky air, noise and congestion. If you want a truly custom home, loaded up with details, NOT next to a garbage dump, then River Wilderness Golf & Country Club is it!!! I only wish more residents here would take the time to put into writing what we all say about this great community of ours! Perhaps they want to keep this «gem» a secret!!!
