Ordered pickup from here multiple times and I’ve never had a single issue. The owner is very nice and so was the cashier and I was out with my food in 5 – 7 minutes!

So excited to find a halal chicken place that’s good. Enjoying the original chicken sandwich and it’s good. Staff(Mohammed) is very nice and this place is worth the trip.

Called tonight for a delivery order. Our wings came and the wing sauce leaked all over the bag, over the other items, everywhere BUT on the wings. I had to call and complain because the wings were our main order and they were plain. Literally zero sauce on them. So the girl tells me she isn’t sure what she can do for me. Now I started to get Pissed because I already waited 45 mins for the food to come and now it’s completely inedible. I get put on hold and she tells me she can credit me back. I said well what about my food? Then she tells me they can make another batch but she doesn’t know when they can come(I said I wasn’t waiting another 45 mins and she said she can’t guarantee that I won’t wait again). So then I’m on hold again, and told that I can’t get a credit unless they come and get the food from me(what?) So I said fine send me anther order. Not even 3 mins later I get a call from the manager, totally unapologetic, says he just cooked another batch and it’s on its way — and to send this order back. SENDTHEORDERBACK!!! why??? Are they reselling them?! Are you kidding me?! Will never ever order from this crap hole again I can’t believe they’re still in business after reading these reviews

My family purchased a chicken sandwich and found a rubber band inside. When we called them to complain they offered us two chicken sandwiches if we brought the disgusting sandwich back. I’m not sure what to except from them but maybe getting food without office supplies inside of them is a start.

Their wings taste very good. But it took longer than 45 minutes for delivery and they got my order wrong.

I love Cluck U sauces but I’ve been to better places. When I try to order grilled boneless wings, they tell me that they can’t do it. I’ve been told that it’s because it is more work and that they are really busy. I get that my special request will take longer but please let me make that call rather than telling me no and fighting with me. Management should be more willing to work with customers on simple requests.

As an update I would like to let everyone know that we decided to roll the dice with Cluck-U again and they delivered pretty quickly. The place still smells weird when you go in, and staff is often just sitting around texting on their phones, but it’s cheap fast-food with some interesting sauces. I will probably be back a few times a year when I get a craving for chicken.

First time visitot. And they only mins from home. Clean place. Very respectful staff. The aroma walking in will have you wanting to try a few things. But I am sad to have to write that when got home to eat the chicken. It was cooked very hard. Over cooked. Since this is my first visit. I am not sure if this is normal for this place. But I could not even get through the first piece. And I brought a 6 piece. I will not return. Considering I was there at 11p and only 3 people in the building. Hard chicken is not good. Since it was fresh. Just a reminder. Just because it smells good and looks good. Do not mean it will taste good.

Thermo nuclear wings are the best I am brave and crazy but not insane. I haven’t signed a waiver yet I will once I can drink real milk. I enjoy the service I need to make a return trip. I have use them for a dinner party let them do all the work and let me get all the credit. At the end of the night told them Cluck U is to thank for the dinner. I usually get the honey bees haven’t tried the cinnamon nor sugar. My daughter swears for their Mac and cheese I do the onion rings. Enjoy Cluck U over the other chicken places cause chicken is fried perfect.

I have been to this location(and other Cluck Us) in the past, but I think I am now officially over it. I used to come here every few months when I got a craving for boneless buffalo wings, and these were awesome(thus the cravings). I’m not sure what changed, but they no longer are awesome. They are no longer crispy and delicious, but instead are chewy, stringy, soggy, and the sauce(traditional buffalo) pretty much tastes like Franks Red Hot. They just taste cheap and not like they used to. It reminds me of a boneless version of the craptastic Wing Zone place that used to be around this area. The service was OK, what you’d expect for walking in, ordering, then taking out. Anyway, I hadn’t been here in probably like a year… but they have officially killed my random Cluck U cravings. I guess that’s good, since that’s one less place I’m tempted to a kill-your-healthy-diet lunch cheat. Instead, just go to Costco and search out some samples.

I have been coming here 1 – 2 times per week for about 6 years now. The food is consistent and delicious. First, let me debunk some of these bad reviews: The guy who said that Cluck has the smell of curry engraved in it? That’s not true at all. That’s the smell of cayenne pepper in the sauces. When the sauce comes in contact with the grill it carmelizes and smells like curry. And even if it did smell like curry, that would make sense. The place next door is an Indian restaurant. So your review is just uneducated and silly. Some people are saying the food has been dry? In all the times I have been there that has not been a problem. In all my experience there, I have gotten the mini-bites almost every time with traditional sauce. Then I do the side of Fries with cheese & gravy. I recently started getting a side of ranch for the mini-bites and it is great. If I don’t do mini-bites, I have the boneless chicken strips. Order 5, and get 6 or 7. There is a lot more meat in those, so they are more filling. The service is exactly what you would expect. A couple high schoolers working the register, they have never screwed up my, or any of my friends, orders. The food is consistent, and the location is very clean. The only problem I have ever had is the location is the parking. There is only 6⁄7 spots out front, but that has never actually been an issue. If those are taken, there are a handful of spots in the back always open.

Good quick device. One of us had the Mini bites which were very good. Moist and crisp. You can actually get a heathy meal. Had the buffalo wrap with the grilled chicken and a bit of blue cheese on the side. I recommend it!

I don’t think I’ve had Cluck U since college but I must say that it was even better than I remembered. Tried the buffalo chicken wrap combo, big fan of the fries, boneless chicken wings, and BBQ grilled chicken sandwhich. On Tuesdays they have 5 biscuits for a dollar but they’re not your typical biscuit, it was friend dough, not sure why they called it a biscuit– wasn’t a fan. Other weird part was they ask what kind of sauce do you want with your buffalo chicken wrap.

So I am a huge fan of wings! What American isn’t. Walking in I found both employees sitting at a table playing with there phones. They continued to sit there for a minute while I was trying to ordered. The staff was also unfriendly and couldn’t even manage to smile. The bathroom was also discussing, someone. I’ll spare you the details. The food was mediocre at best. They put so much sauce in the wings you can’t even taste the chicken. The French fries were ok as well. Back to the sauce I ordered a sauce on the spicier end. It was not spicy by any means its was way to sweet. I will not return.

My first cluck you experience. The name drew me in and I must say that I had high expectations. I am a huge chicken fan and scanned the expansive menu and decided on the 5 piece buffalo tender combo. Came with fries and a drink. Fries were very good, not sure what they do to them but they were the highlight for me. The chicken was pretty basic and slightly undercooked. I prefer my chicken with a crispy outside and these tended to be soggy. Sauce was ok. Not hot as advertised. More of a medium. I can’t stand it when places charge for Blu cheese and this place does. Service was quick and friendly. Place was fairly clean but could have used some TLC. Certainly a step up from KFC but not sure if ill add it to the regular rotation.

Worst CluckU in the franchise. Consistently underdone wings, no matter how many I times I repeat to the owner/cashier«WELLDONE»… Please cook them a lot. extra crispy! They still come out Luke warm with an under cooked pink center. When I pointed this out they microwaved them! I watched and heard the owner instruct his staff to microwave them, and when I confronted him he lied saying«I don’t know what they did» As if this were not enough, the smell of dank curry is engrained into the place. Not to be racist… It just smells more like pungent Indian food than a chicken joint. Randolph, Morristown, Hoboken, Dunellen and Somerville offer a better product, better service in a more pleasant environment.

Clean clean clean I am used to the Morristown Cluck-U and that place is always pretty disgusting when it comes to the dining area. The window of the place is plastered with weekday specials so that’s always a plus! I haven’t had a lot of Cluck-U, but this place is pretty chill. Never packed and they have music videos or SC playing on the TV while you wait for your food. Bottom Line: I wouldn’t go totally out of the way for Cluck-U, but if I had to pick one in the area, I would definitely go with this one over the one in Morristown. Super clean, employees are pretty courteous, and owned by locals! I’m not sure, but according to fellow Unilocalers they do not have as many sauces as neighboring Morristown, so if you are big on all kinds of sauces I would check first! Come for the specials!

Since I went to Rutgers and was a regular back in the early 90s I’ve remained a fan of Cluck U. When this one opened here in Parsippany, all I hoped for was the food being the same quality as I’d been to other franchises and they weren’t always as good as the original. Well if you too are a fan-you won’t be disappointed. The food is just as good though the service is a little slow. Great selection here and the sides and ‘Clucker Bees’ are great as well. The second time I was here a couple summers ago, my friend challenged me to the Cluck-U 911 wing challenge and I sent him packing. 10 of the 911 wings(yes I had to sign a waiver) in 5 minutes with no napkins or beverage, then wait another 5 minutes without napkin or a beverage. Stop by and see my picture up on the wall-there I am in a black Rutgers shirt looking miserable. Hottest thing I think I’ve ever eaten. But it isn’t just about scalding wings-all of the sauces are delicious and there are even great salads for those looking for a healthier option.
