I went to this store yesterday to pick up some Basic Editions tee shirts. They were on sale for $ 5.98. There was a sign(in a metal holder) with the discounted price right on top of the rack that the shirts were in. I did a price check on their scanner and the shirts scanned at the regular(non sale) price. I went to the cashier to check out and asked her about the price difference. She scanned the shirts which again scanned at the regular price. She then asked me where I got the sale price from. I said there is a sign right over the shirts. she did not check the rack with the sign but did check the circular. The circular did not have the shirts in it. and I was told if the shirts are not in the circular they are regular price. I went round and round again politely with the cashier two more times telling her that the sign said $ 5.98 and the sale — as per the sign started on 5÷22÷16. The cashier refused to even look at the sign or call someone else to check. Needless to say I finally just gave up and said forget it. By the way on the K Mart web site the very same shirts are on sale for $ 5.98. It is no wonder this chain is in trouble. Customer service is non existent.

I’ve never liked Kmart… usually has a funny smell and I feel that the people who work at customer service are always rude. Still I decided one day to stop at that Kmart and it was a special kind of weird. Rude employees, terrible selection of EVERYTHING… they don’t even sell blu-ray or video games here, very strange. Just go to target or even Walmart.

This is a below average discount retail store. The last time I shopped there it was during the summer and over 80 degrees inside the store.
