Milbauer James MD

I (and my partner) have been patients of Dr. Millbauer’s for about seven years. Having spent my childhood in a tropical environment I get regular scans of my skin and need a very experienced dermatologist to keep an eye on my skin. He did remove a small spot a year ago which he did with so much skill I can barely see it. I doubt there is a more intelligent, knowledgeable or personable doctor anywhere. He takes as much time as he needs, we never feel hurried, and his professional recommendations re protocols are top notch. No surprise that his staff are incredibly friendly and efficient — they are a testament to Dr. Millbauer’s good nature.

I have had a close friend raving about Millbauer for years and when I recently became concerned about a spot on my face, I finally made an appointment.
He is incredibly intelligent, engaging and professional. It’s clear he stays on top of recent studies and can easily reference any of them to support your skin concerns.
Really appreciate the full body scan option at no extra cost and although I opted to remove the spot on my face, he did not seem eager or pushy to do so even after giving me the breakdown of options all of which led me to believe there was no strong indication it could be a concern. This is refreshing as most other dermatologists in the past have seemed quite to opposite.
Heads up though on booking an appt, he books up fast — so call around to months in advance to make sure you get in when you need to. Really surprised there aren’t more reviews based on his popularity!
