Without a doubt, best Indian food I have eaten in quite some time. Better than all the places on Oak Tree Rd and Newark Ave. We went here on a whim and it was a bit difficult to find. Judging from the previous reviews it seems the management has changed. Not only we had a pleasent dinner we also took food to go. We will definitely visit again.

This is probably one of my favorite Indian restaurant. It is now under new management and me and my friends simply love to eat from here .The kebabs are just nothing but delicious. The kebab biryani is also awesome. This is definitely one place that I visit once or twice a week. Oh yes, it is very pocket friendly.

I will revise my rating if the chef improves his food that we buy every week with our hard earned money. We do Goat Biriyani and other items takeout at least 2 – 3 times a week, so we are regulars. However the food leaves lot to be desired. Not only it fluctuates depending on owner, manager or chef, but it shows lack of consistency and no regard for human body. I will not mention the oil soaked vegetable dishes because they are simply not worth mentioning. I will concentrate on our beloved biriyani. We love goat we love biriyani… But every time we order the food tastes different, sometimes salty, sometimes saltless. Not to mention we always ask for medium spicy and it is always BLAZING!!! I ate 3 spoons for lunch and my mouth and stomach is on fire. Professional chef should understand that HOTNESSDOESNOTEQUALFLAVOR. In fact if you know physiology of tongue you should realize you are systematically and irreversibly killing your customer’s taste/tongue buds with the chilly hotness(spicy hot equals to very real pain and damage of taste buds as a hot coal would). But, what bothers me even more, that someone decided to strategically intersperse the biriyani with chunks of various spices instead of grinding the spices. This leads to me biting down hard on cinnamon splinter one time or chew on puff of intense cardamom pod the next or sour my whole taste with a lump of tamarind. I literally could not eat my lunch at work today because office people should not have to dig inside their mouth to remove unappetizing morsels of spices from their mouth with hand or go through flavor insanity. One very big plus point that won them at least the 2 stars is that they generous with meat and don’t put too many bones. Thank you for that. I held of for 7 years to write this review, and hope the management reads and corrects their deficiencies.

If you are in Parsippany, NJ between 2:30 — 5:00 pm and you are craving Indian, you should head to Mich Masala Grill because they will be open. The food is delicious and really worth stopping by no matter what time it is.

The place is small and rough. It’s got punch and grit, which is(to me) a better sign of the food than pretentious stucco interiors. On a long stretch of highway in Parsippany, this was the only Curry or Indian place open between lunch and dinner. This was a good thing. Although I ordered the goat curry as spicy as possible I may have looked like too much of a gentile for that. But it was still excellent goat curry. The Papari Chat was good, the Bhindi Marsala was very good. The Paratha bread was ‘flaky and delicious’ according to my wife; she also loved the Butter Chicken. The place reminds of of the smaller curry shops in the UK. Good stuff.

The food here is amazing for such a small place. We have had the butter chicken, goat biryiani, channa masala, and a few others. Make sure you say mild, they’re medium is hot, and hot is wild!

This place is a hit or miss… I have ordered several times from here… Chicken Kolhapuri is good… fish masala was also good. Biriyani and Butter chicken were below average and they have maintained the way below average standard on them for quite a while now. :-) prices are reasonable.,…

I am a regular here. I swing by once a week after work to pick up dinner on my way home. Their goat biryani is really good as is the chicken kebab. Reasonable prices and true dhaba like food. Hits the spot !!

My parents got take out from here for my birthday dinner last week and it was a wonderful way to end the day. I’ve never actually been to this place, as my dad always handles the ordering and picking up the food, but take out is always delicious. Then again, Indian food travels really well. This particular time we got Daal Gosht 5⁄5 — This is the only place that I’ve had this particular dish and its awesome. Basically spicy lentils with goat. Not a combination you see very often. Butter Chicken 3⁄5 — Eh, it was too sweet and too tomato-y for my tastes. My mom does a better job. Goat Biriyani 4⁄5 — Great flavor and lots of meat pieces, but it tasted just the slightest bit old. Naan 4⁄5 — Very good, but I’ve had some really excellent naan in my day, so I have high standards Chicken Shish Kabob 4⁄5 — These were awesome. This place likes to turn up the heat, so you have to make sure to specify mild or you’ll be in lots of pain.

VERYVERYDISAPPOINTING!!! the worst Indian food ever. I had called in an order, the person DIDNOT take any of my requests into account… putting lots of hot pepper, salt an oil made the food inedible. What a wasre of money. I would never go there again!

Not good. We ordered the Dal Makhani and to my shock I saw the chef(you can see right through the kitchen from the reception counter) bring out pre-cooked frozen Dal Makhani and toss it in the pan, heat it up and served it. Cmon! How many days was it sitting in the refrigerator? And as expected, it tasted like some road side dhaba! Also ordered Shahi paneer… very very very oily… the oil was dripping from my plate… and I am sure it wasn’t olive oil! The garlic Naan are good and huge… Not a great experience… I am guessing they might be better at the non-veg food options.

You will not find better North Indian take out anywhere for a better price. Possibly the only Indian restaurant in Northern New Jersey where two people can get absolutely stuffed for under $ 20. It –is– a no-frills take-out place, but if you do choose to eat-in the staff is friendly and prompt. The food here is fantastic, better than many of the fancy sit-down spots farther down Rt. 46. Unless you’ve got an incurable dosa craving, there is no reason to get Indian takeout anywhere else.
