Stayed here for 2 nights at $ 185USD/night after taxes. Room was clean and very spacious, but a bit dated. My wifi was upgraded by signing up for their free rewards club, but even then was on the slow side. Front desk reception was excellent. A shuttle is available for drop-off/pick-up to the nearby offices, subject to timing(e.g. I was given an option of 4:30pm or 6:15pm pick-up). The shuttle will NOT take you to the train station, shopping area, etc though. The breakfast was disappointing. I noticed the scrambled eggs had something red in them, so I asked an employee there if the red was meat or a vegetable. She responded saying she wasn’t sure, the eggs come pre-melted to the hotel and they just heat them up… gross. Maybe it’s the same at other hotels but hearing this made me cringe + you really ought to know if one of the main dishes you’re serving contains meat or not.

Very bad service, I have had an issue in my room, very noisy heater, I spoke to the front desk two times and they are not helpful at all, they just say we will get back to you, they never did and they haven’t done anything about it, Iam very disappointed and very bad customer sevice

We loved this hotel! It has nice spacious rooms, and the kitchen is a BIG plus! We are looking to go back again; when we are traveling around that New Jersey area again.

Friendly, attentive staff(thanks Matt), clean and comfortable room; great bed — super comfortable. Breakfast service was very good, $ 3 fruit smoothies, $ 2 draft beer, $ 3 wine and full range of frozen dinners and pasta lets you stay in if you’re not in the mood to go out. Heated pool isn’t huge, but water is clean and warm. Gym equipment is in new condition. Recommend and would come again.

I just checked out, and am speechless about my stay. Decided to get away for a night with some close friends. As soon as we entered, we were welcomed. Our room was spacious, and had a home feeling. The pool was small, but definitely enjoyed it. The beds were firm and comfy. The bathroom was huge. The staff is friendly and sweet. The breakfast was good.(Not really a breakfast person). Overall, I had a great time and plan on staying again soon.

We brought a hockey team from out of state and stayed at this hotel. While not fancy, the hotel is clean, comfortable and efficient. The evening receptions are very nice. The meeting areas very comfortable and inviting. I think they are about to undergo a renovation that will make it even better. The hotel staff have been wonderful — very responsive, concerned and helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Somewhere between a 3 and a 4-star rating. Not fancy, but seems to be in good shape. Common spaces are nicely appointed; rooms are utilitarian. No frills. Decent breakfast. My room was the 550 sq ft, single-king, two-room variety. I believe that there is a smaller size. Mine was cozy. The entire hotel seems to use its space efficiently — and that’s not bad. Room was clean and in good condition, but worn … if that makes sense. Towels seemed newer. Good water pressure on the shower. Minimal ‘advertising’ scattered throughout the room. Internet. Without paying the add’l $ 10/day, I clocked download speeds of 0.52 Mbs. I could access basic websites fine, and did stream a couple of YouTube videos without issues. I’ve stayed at the Hyatt House on the southeast ‘corner’ of 80 and 287. I enjoyed the economy of space for Sonesta, and my room at Sonesta was in better condition. Hyatt seemed a bit more refined throughout. The Hyatt felt like it was not as isolated in a corporate campus community. I did not try the pool, the evening reception/dinner, nor the fitness center or business office. Reception room seemed to be of good size, and well appointed.

I’ve now spent about 8 days at this extended stay. As a business traveler, I’ve experienced properties at all levels from budget to luxury. This one is very basic– clean and no frills. It was previously Staybridge Suites, and if I were to guess I don’t think much has changed about the property itself aside from the ownership. The staff has been quite friendly and helpful when any issues have come up(forgotten key, broken shower head, etc). The housekeeping is only towel service and emptying trash unless you are staying more than 7 nights, so I didn’t expect much in that way. I must say though, the more thorough housekeeping service at other extended stay properties in the price range is something I miss. Amenities are light– the hot breakfast is cheap but available. I’ve taken to fixing my own in my room. Processed scrambled eggs, a rotating meat option, oatmeal and waffles are your hot choices. The rest is pre packaged carbs of questionable integrity. The room is dated but clean. This is purely a matter of opinion, but the bed is too soft for my taste and I’m left with a back ache that has been bugging me since about my third night. The TV is an old school bulky tube TV, rather than the flat screens that most comparable properties have upgraded to. Wifi is complimentary– but they charge $ 10 a day or $ 150 a month if you want speeds fast enough for streaming. I find this a little obnoxious. I don’t have any MAJOR complaints about Sonesta– it serves it’s purpose but it’s certainly not fancy about it. If given the choice I’d opt for the Hyatt House or Hampton Inn near by next time.
