Seated promptly by a 16 year old girl. She only had 3 menus in the whole store. She apologized for not having more, that they had«misplaced» the others. She took our drink order, all waters, and wanted a plate of lemons. She was throughly confused by us asking for a plate of lemons. Waters came, no lemons. «Someone» was cutting a lemon. Never saw the lemons. She took our order, apologized up and down for how long it’s taking. Asked for salads but salad bar was empty. Asked a few times to fill it. Nothing. Kept discussing how gross the tables are, how the whole staff, only 4 of them working, looked under 18 and not a care in the world, how the place wasn’t busy. How was the food? Have no idea we left to go to the Pizza Hut in Independence, KS. Service? I could tell the waitress was trying but not hard enough. If you want a job, work hard! If you want customers so they give you tips and help you get a paycheck, work hard! Get your act together Parsons Pizza Hut.

I’ll just start at the beginning… Even though they weren’t busy — maybe eight other customers — we were seated at a dirty table. Our waitress did bring water, but never asked or came back to take our order. We went to the counter to get someone’s attention(several employees in the place, but too busy chatting with each other to take care of business) and ordered a sandwich and breadsticks. Easy enough, right? One would think. Our waitress never came back to our table or gave any indication that she noticed we were there. The employee chatting continued; customers were ignored, as were dirty tables. Let me regress and say in the past we have gotten excellent personal service from hard working, long time employees who recently have all been dismissed. Perhaps they worked too hard? I saw our order be plated and reach the front counter where it was set to the side in order to check out a party of three buffet diners. New customers entered and were seated at a dirty table by our waitress. They were served water; no orders were taken. Our waitress disappeared. Chatting continued. We waited. I could see our order on the side counter. We waited. More chatting. At least five minutes passed. We left. How was the food? I don’t know; you might ask our waitress. We won’t be back.
