Anna Elyse is absolutely amazing!!! I am getting married in May and have 4 bridesmaids that needed bridesmaids dresses. The experience of going to the chic shop with my girls was as magical as I imagined it would be. Annie offered us drinks, some entertainment for my friend’s kid, and explained our options. The shop offers a clever flip book of all the options for how you can design the perfect dress that will fit your body type. The top half of the book has about a dozen designs (strapless, one-​shoulder, tank etc.) that you can match with a dozen bottoms (full skirt, pleated, pencil, etc.). Once you’ve chosen the top and bottom styles then you get to try samples on which velco together so you can imagine what the end product looks like. The genius of this is that you can try on a size 6 top and 8 bottom for example. You’re able to find the perfect dress for your body type. It only took 2 months for the dresses to be made, Annie gave us a great price, her service was top-​notch, and the fabric and quality are beautiful. Now I’m going to have Annie make the bowties for the groomsmen!

I’m giving this place a one star because I can’t give it a zero! I went to this store looking for a dress for my mother. She loved a dress that they had on the manikin and we were attended to very nicely. Well long story short my mother ended up paying $ 400.00 for her dress. When the dress was ready my mother tried it on and it didn’t fit, it wasn’t sitting on her body right. The dress came with a little jacket and that didn’t fit either. They kept the jacket so they can fix it but come a few days after it still didn’t fit. My mother is a curvy woman and they couldn’t make her a dress that fit her well at all. What kind of a place is this if they can’t make dresses for all shapes and sizes. I will never step foot in this store again. Do yourself a favor and don’t bother going into this store!

I gave it one star ONLY because I can’t give it zero stars! The owner Annie is a rude and unprofessional lady. Despite the fact that we paid a large amount of money for custom bridesmaids dresses, all but two of the dresses were right the first time. To make matters worse, when the issues were brought to Annie’s attention she attempted to blame us instead of taking responsibility for HER MISTAKES. My dress was absolutely disgusting!!! Dealing with Annie’s mistakes were an inconvenience (obviously we had to drive to her) and her attitude was the cherry on top. Her staff was polite (thank you Brianna) but Annie was condescending and rude so I didn’t even bother going back to her. I had to pay a local seamstress to fix (aka completely remake) my dress one week before the wedding! I would never ever recommend this place to anyone and I will never go back myself. Two thumbs down for Annie!!!

Who knew that by just googling prom dresses in Pasadena my daughter would walk out with a one of a kind gorgeous dress. Hail to Annie, the store’s amazing designer who listened closely and took us under her wing to create a dress the had my daughter smiling from ear to ear and she hasn’t stopped. We can’t say enough about how easy Annie just
got what we wanted and poof it was done. Stuff like that doesn’t happen especially at an affordable price. Thank you Annie, your are a true fairy god mother because my daughter WILL look like a princess. I highly recommend this shop to all looking for exactly what you want and more.

I love my wedding dress! I came in here a year ago looking for a bridesmaid dress, and then came back for my own wedding dress. They have beautiful fabrics, styles, colors, and were so professional and sweet! I ordered a handmade silk dress in the design of a bridesmaids dress but in white, and a little longer. It fits beautifully, and looks amazing. I got everything taken care of easily; prices never changed, dates never wavered. I also like that for the same price –or maybe even less– as a chain retail store, I got to support a woman-​owned small business!

You must stop by Anna Elyse Bridal Shop in Pasadena. The quality, the styles, the colors are AMAZING!!! The Fantastic/​Friendly staff are super helpful/​Flexiable and are ready to listen and accomidate your every need!!!
I had my bridemaids chose their color and style. Unlike, other MAJOR Bridal retail stores… Ana Elyse will lets you mix and match the Top style cut with a different bottom style cut. Also, they fit you to your true size! For example: Top Size 4 /​Bottom Size 6. They understand that every women has a different body shape and Ana, the designer, knows how to embrace the female form.
Can’t to see all my girls looking amazing for my wedding.

YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED

I recently purchased a dress off the rack at Anna Elyse for my sister’s wedding. The sales associate, Rikki, was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, the 3^rd party tailor they recommended was not capable of making the alterations required to make the dress fit. The owner of the boutique handled this problem with professionalism and tact and allowed me to return the dress for a refund, even though the dress was «non-​returnable.» I am very happy with the way that they resolved our issue in good faith. I would recommend to not use their suggested tailor, and instead secure your own if you need alterations (they do not have one in-​house, but are considering getting one).

Hands down the best customer service I have ever experienced. Rikki is an absolute sweetheart that is extremely helpful from start to finish as well as very knowledgeable.
Trying on dresses can be stressful, but Rikki was patient, really listened to what I wanted, and very helpful in helping me arrive at exactly what I was looking for.
I live in NYC but had visited the store while I was in Pasadena for a quick trip, and Rikki made the process for selecting bridesmaid dresses so easy, sending both myself and my mom 9 different swatches so we were able to pick the exact color of dress we wanted. She even had a dress redesigned to our specifications. If you are looking for bridesmaid dresses and want the process to be easy, flexible I highly recommend going to Anna Elyse (and working with Rikki).

I knew from the get go that I wanted my bridesmaids to wear different styles that flattered their body types. (no one wants to see unhappy bridesmaids stuffed in unflattering dresses! I wanted my girls to look gorgeous) I Googled free swatches and that’s how I found this place. They sent me 5 free swatches in different materials.
Annie (the owner) couldn’t have been any nicer! She explained how their styles work. I pick a skirt style I liked and the girls pick their own styles for the top. She also explained that it would take 8 weeks for the dresses to get made. After the initial meeting at their flagship store in Pasadena, I corresponded with Rikki (sales mngr) who was such a sweetheart! She was very prompt at answering emails, ensured that all my girls got their order in on time (even sent them reminder emails for me so that I wouldn’t seem like such a bridezilla!) and was very accommodating when it came time for me to pick up the dresses. They gave us a coupon code to get 5% off of every dress.
The dresses averaged about $ 210 which was par for the course. I chose the Lindsey style skirt because it had pockets which came in handy for them at the wedding. The material I chose was the silk essence in navy salute (Navy blue). The orders were placed at the same time in June 2013 to ensure that the dresses would be cut from the same bolt of fabric. I got an email from Rikki that dresses were ready in early August (a week before I expected the dresses) and picked the three dresses up from the Pasadena while the other dress got shipped up to WA to my other bridesmaid.
Notes about the dresses: I ensured that the girls specified «mini length» in their orders. When the dresses arrived everything fit well. Two of the girls had to alter the skirt to make it shorter about 3 inches above the knee.
Bottom line: the dresses looked flattering on my bridal party. It’s hard enough planning a wedding and this store made the bridesmaids dresses part that much easier.

This shop is awesome they make their own dresses by hand. I bought my daughter a flower girl dress and they treated her like a princess… We got a really good deal as well. I will defiantly shop hear again. Too bad they don’t make men’s clothing :/

I ordered my bridesmaid and flower girl dresses from Anna Elyse for our wedding in June, and I am writing to share my positive experience with other brides. Rikki at Anna Elyse is highly reliable and cares a lot about customer satisfaction. Our photos came back a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely got the elegant, classic look I wanted for my bridesmaids! If you are newly engaged, let me tell you that the wedding planning process involves a lot of headaches and bridesmaid dresses doesn’t have to be one of them.
Exceptional customer service — I started working with Rikki after I ordered some swatches online. The Anna Elyse website allows you to receive 5 complimentary swatches. You can then order more for some small amount of money ($ 5 for 5, I think). I saw a real weddings photo online with a dress style and fabric color that I loved, but when I ordered my first set of swatches, I realized I hadn’t guessed right on the color. When I ordered and paid for the second set of swatches, Rikki contacted me to ask if I needed help. I sent her the photo and she recognized the fabric color immediately. She refunded my $ 5 and sent me the additional swatches free of charge. From that moment on, it was a pleasure to work with Rikki. She answers all emails promptly. She was always on top of the details of my order. For example, she arranged to delay production of one of my bridesmaid’s dresses when she changed sizes due to pregnancy while also delivering that dress in plenty of time for the wedding. Finally, she arranged a special order of flower girl sashes in the same fabric as my bridesmaid dresses. (This positive experience contrasts with my negative experience with other vendors. Another bridesmaid dress vendor never even responded to my request for swatches. My veil vendor delivered the veil 2 – 3 weeks late after promising delivery in 5 – 7 weeks.)
High quality product, great value — I found my way to Anna Elyse after experiencing a certain amount of frustration with what’s out there for bridesmaid dresses. I wanted a classic, elegant long dress in the perfect shade of pinky champagne. A couple of my bridesmaids are Mormon and so needed a modest cut. My mom wanted dresses in a non-​synthetic fabric, because she is a snob about these things! Anna Elyse provided a great solution because the company offers so many styles in so many colors. If you did the math, I think you’d literally have thousands of possible options to choose from. We went with the Grace dress in snow dupioni with different bodices chosen by the bridesmaids. Finally, if you get on Anna Elyse’s mailing list you’ll see that good promotions come across fairly frequently. If you plan ahead, you can use one of those promotional windows to get a better price. I ordered in August and was able to get a good discount!
Tricky measurements — Sizing was the trickiest part of ordering from Anna Elyse. Even if you live in California near the Anna Elyse flagship, you probably have bridesmaids scattered around and can’t get everyone to the store to get measured. Anna Elyse provides lots of information on how to take the measurements correctly but, in the end, I think 2 or 3 of my 5 bridesmaids had to have alterations. My recommendations: make sure your bridesmaids have their measurements taken by a professional seamstress and tell them to be careful about the «waist» measurement, which is really around the ribcage for most people.

I just recently visited Anna Elyse’s store in Pasadena and fell in love with these bridesmaid dresses for my girls! Annie, the store owner, went above and beyond to help us select the best collection and styles for the girls. The dresses come in a variety of fabric options depending on your style preference and budget. I really wanted a variety of options for my girls to choose the style that best suite each girls figure. Combined with the endless array of color options, you are sure to find something you like here!
Annie will make sure your bridesmaids select the best size. They even accommodate split sizes if your bust /​waist put you into multiple dress size categories. This is great as it helps reduce the cost of alterations.
I found out these dresses are also sold to Nordstrom. I’d purchase a dress for a formal event anytime from this store.

Like most brides out there (hopefully), I had no idea where to start when bridesmaid dress shopping. Naturally, I Unilocaled «bridesmaids dresses,» found Anna Elyse, and decided to visit based off the high reviews. I met with Rikki a couple weeks ago, accompanied by my four bridesmaids. Before visiting, I found them to be the most kind and professional bunch – they emailed me with details, called ahead to confirm, and seemed genuinely excited to meet me and my bridal party.
Once we got there, I found that the store itself was super chic. It’s located on the third floor of a building in Old Town Pasadena, where you have to buzz to get in and then climb three flights of stairs. Once you step inside, you feel like you’re in a hoity-​toity, lofty… loft. The ladies greet you with welcoming smiles and they’ve even set up a cute candy bar station by the door.
But with all the pleasantries aside, I honestly found myself shocked. These were not the dress styles or the price point we were on the market for. My bridesmaid dress ceiling is $ 200 per dress and with that budget, we could only afford the silk dupioni material. If you don’t know what that is, it’s kind of stiff and semi-​glossy/​shiny. And like a previous reviewer noted, the idea is that you pick a particular dress in a collection and the girl can mix and match the tops with the bottoms. Their dress styles mostly end around the knee area and range from A-​line to bubble skirt, one-​shouldered to sweetheart, etc. This is the same dress company that is carried at Nordstrom. As a side note, if you buy your dresses here, you will only be ordering the standard dress size and you will need to get it altered to your body elsewhere.
Don’t get me wrong – the dresses are cute and functional, but they seem to be more for the spring or summer bride that’s into the cutesy mix and match bridesmaid’s-that-can-potentially-turn-cocktail dress. As a winter bride myself, it was ultimately the lack of fabric and price choices that won out over their wide array of styles and colors. It was simply not my taste.
We visited other shops that day that had more dress for the same amount of money and in better fabrics and styles (as in floor-​length chiffon dresses – doesn’t that sound like winter wedding to you?), so I’m sorry to say, that we won’t be returning to the store. At least I can say that my girls and I had a great bonding experience and can now compare this shop and its dresses to others.

My MOH and I met with Anna, the owner. She gave us so many options and even had the perfect option if any of my girls get pregnant.
The concept is, you pick a collection and each girl picks a top that will best suit her.
The dresses are beautifully made and custom for each girl. It just does not get better.
A few days after we met I received a hand written note. Of all the vendors that I have worked with so far this is the BEST! I wish they could do every aspect of my wedding.
