Dr. Futenma was great – when I finally got insurance approval to see her, she worked me in at the end of the very next busy day l,. She and her assistant, Ricky, were friendly, attentive, and gave me an all-​around great experience (even if the diagnosis was not what I’d hoped!).
She and her office have been great about following up for me on getting my brace approved by insurance (!), keeping in contact (and once I actually got an email response from her within minutes!).
I highly recommend Dr. Futenma and her office for anyone who has a problem with their feet.

Dr. Futenma charged me for services she guaranteed me my insurance would cover and convinced me to allow her diagnostics. She then proceeded to charge me and reported to her billing office that our conversation was false after the fact. One evaluation from her got me a large diagnostics bill, leg pain, not back to running and forced me to seek a second opinion. Outraged, frustrated and would never refer any of my running community to her.

I so wish that Dr. Futenma was my doctor for everything… She is so down to earth and friendly… I had seen her a few years ago and had to recently come back in for a hammer toe situation and semi fracture on my foot… thinking I would have to have surgery… Nope just ice and rest… I just feel so comfortable and at ease with her mannerism,
She is one GREAT Doctor!!! I highly recommend her

I have not visited this doctor for medical issues but heard her speak to a group about foot care which took place at Huntington Hospital. She made a good impression, and if I ever need a podiatrist, I’ll give her a call.

This Doctor knows what she is doing! I went in with an ingrown toenail which can be very painful. Dr. Futenma was extremely proffesional along with her friendly nurse. You hear a lot of horror stories about about procedures like this. THE PROCEDURE IS PAINLESS!!! This Doctor deseves 6 stars! Thank you Dr. Futenma.
