I signed up for a virtual membership, and then the next day a friend offered that I could use their office. I called that day to ask if they would refund my registration fee and the month I had just paid for. The person on the phone said she would call me back and let me know. A couple days go by, no phone call or email, so I called again. She says she’ll ask again and email me. I get an email that says that all future billing to my card have been cancelled. I respond that that is very nice, but my question is whether or not they will refund the $ 100 they already billed me. She responds that she«remembers» me asking that, but that they«are not able» to refund it. Not able to or choose not to? And how is that for community? If someone signs up for my product and calls the next day to say it’s not a fit and asks for a refund, I say, yes I can refund the money and then I refund it.

Cross Campus is one of many new ventures that ostensibly assist entrepreneurs. I attended a three-day start-up program called«Turning Your Business Idea Into Reality.» Attendees paid a fee with the expectation that they would receive start-up advice from professionals. I did not find the start-up program helpful for either education or enhancing my start-up business. However, all of the attendees were offered a Cross Campus promo pen, a Hershey’s chocolate bar cleverly wrapped with advertising from a local print shop, and a free domain for three months.

Ever since I first arrived here, this place is on point. They have excellent Copa Vida coffee for members, a super friendly staff, a clean atmosphere, 24⁄7 access, and multiple conference type rooms if you need to hold meetings of any kind. It’s truly special. Ben, the manager here, was so kind to me and even made sure I had my first week free as I had just moved back to Pasadena and was looking for a great co working space to use. This place had everything I want and more. Heck, they even have Kombucha on draft on weekdays! How awesome is that!!! I highly recommend this awesome co working space in Old Town Pasadena. If you need an office space but are looking to do it affordably and with a hint of networking involved, this is definitely the place for your.

I came here for a networking event a couple of weeks ago. It was around 6:30pm when I arrived and I almost passed the door since I was expecting the place to be on the ground floor. Well, it’s not. It’s on the second floor and you enter through a small door on Raymond, then you walk up one flight of stairs to an open, spacious room. It has desks/chairs, sofas, several large conference tables, some private phone/work rooms. It has a coffee bar with some snacks. I was impressed with the co-working space. It has a creative feel to it and was well insulated, so the sound did not echo much. There were some couches around the area where my group congregated and a projection screen for the presentations. Overall, a very nice spot. I’ll be back for future networking events. Xie Xie!

CC = Community Community. What a spot to work out of. I’ve always known the Pasadena startup community to be cool and supportive. Now we all have a place to gather. Thx CC.

My small staff and I have worked out of my home for a number of years and more recently in a small office near Walnut and Lake. While our collaboration and operations have worked well in those spaces I’m so glad that we have moved to Cross Campus. The entrepreneurial atmosphere here is energizing and the resources and networking opportunities are tremendous. The staff provides excellent service including operating an in-house full service espresso bar. Before we joined we were able to try it out for a few days — I recommend that you do the same.

I was forced to find a quiet place to host a webinar, since my gardener and neighbors gardeners were making too much noise. Found this place and was immediately impressed. There were a lot of community tables and couches with power strips everywhere and WiFi! I opted for a private sound proof room since I was hosting a webinar. It included a flat screen TV to hookup my laptop(which I didn’t need) and a Polycom to hookup to your phone via Bluetooth. The place is clean and most importantly quiet. Nothing but professionals here doing work and having conferences. Best of all, they have a coffee bar. Definitely coming back

Brand new co-working and office space in Pasadena! Great option for entrepreneurs and freelancers on the Eastside, Downtown, and in the Valley. I joined when it opened last week and have been very impressed so far with the professionalism and level of service of the staff and ownership. Looking forward to great things to come!
