Dr. Tong and his staff are the BEST! My son, his dad and I have been patients for about 6 years during which time my son went from a bright, but struggling 4^th grader to a confident, top of his class, 10^th-​grader. Though my son has perfect vision, he had visually processing issues: his eyes did not team when he read and he had little peripheral vision. We could not understand why his homework was taking so long! After advanced testing with Dr. Tong, Vision Therapy and stress-​relieving glasses were recommended. The results came slowly but steadily. By 5^th grade, my son was an avid, voracious reader and homework time was cut in half. Now his academic success and personal confidence shine! I have different issues, near-​sightedness and ocular migraines, So I get glasses and contacts, and have been so happy with the service I get a Dr. Tong’s. Each visit, I am recognized and treated personally by Dr. Tong and his staff. Karen is always helpful regarding setting appointments and billing, and one of the most pleasant people you will meet. As is Andy, who has helped me choose and fit my glasses. Dr. Tong offers a one-​year warranty on the glasses purchased there and I have been pleased how he honors this policy. I scratched my glasses in the first few months of owning them even though they were scratch resistant and Dr. Tong replaced the lenses, re-​educating me on proper cleaning techniques to avoid damage to the new lenses. Always pleasant and soft spoken, this team has an efficient effective office, works with integrity and respect, knows the science, is courteous and offers timely personal service at affordable prices. You cannot go wrong with Dr. Tong!!!

Dr. Tong is AMAZING. I have a VERY reluctant 4 year old who does not like going to dr’s appt. s and who is not willing to put anything in the vicinity her eyes, but we were able to get through a very thorough eye exam with Dr. Tong. He was very soft spoken, he had a lot of patience, he was very caring, and he had many kid oriented techniques in the exam. He just has a very kind demeanor. Additionally, he did not aggressively try to get me to buy glasses from his office collection. He reaffirmed what another dr said and he could have very well sold me glasses, but he did not recommend it since he hoped that I could correct the issues he found in his exam with lifestyle changes. Moreover, my insurance did not cover the exam, so he gave me a great deal for a very thorough exam. I also liked that he gave me a very thorough explanation of his diagnosis and gave me several ideas on how to make corrective measures at home. I had a great experience here. I found him on a recommendation and I will definitely be back.
