Don’s Wig

Julie and Tracy are SO incredibly helpful. They took the time to make sure I was happy with the wig before I bought it. I came back a week later (before the party I was going to) and they put the wig on for me and made sure it was secure and it looked great. I can’t say enough great things about this business. They understand the importance of customer service. I’d highly recommend Don’s Wig Shop!

The store was shutting its gate and Julie reopened for me just in order to help me out. She was the BEST. She helped me get exactly the wig I needed and was so helpful, kind and patient with me even though she must have wanted to go home! They have a nice wide selection of human hair and synthetic wigs. Fair prices and easy parking. Definitely will go back!!!

We loved this place! My sister, who had been losing hair rapidly, walked in with me to get her first wig, which is of course, an emotional experience. Julie met us and immediately put us at ease and we tried on a couple of wigs. We said we wanted to shop around at another store and may come back. We did, hours later, and she welcomed us back with smiles. When my sister tried on a different wig this time, Julie realized instantly that it made my sister very happy and she set about spending the next 20 minutes giving us very personalized attention and even sewing in a part of the wig for my sister. It was obvious her clientele loves her. What a lovely establishment! It’s local and it’s independent. Wig-​buying is an intimate experience and Don’s Wig made it very easy and effortless. I highly recommend it.

The store is small, but it has a decent selection of high quality wigs.
The prices are reasonable, the service is priceless.
What I liked is that Julie said that if in the event a wig is discontinued or no longer available in the color, etc. that they will call you in advance to let you know; which is a relief when you get used to a style and you come to find that the manufacturer discontinues it without any kind of notice… (this happens more than you know)
The shop has a good amount of selection, good hours, was clean and well stocked, (not dusty) the wigs looked well-​maintained and there was a nice selection of care products. I look forward to shopping again.

Don’s Wig Shop is amazing! Not only is there an impressive number of wigs of many styles, lengths, and colors, but the people who work there are wonderful! Julie helped me find just the perfect wig. She was friendly, helpful, and went out of her way to make sure I left happy! The prices are also incredible. Almost half what I’ve paid at other wig stores in the area. If you love wigs, you need to check out Don’s!

Had a great first experience at this shop! I found this Unilocal listing and decided to try them out first because they are local, before going all the the way to Hollywood or the Valley. So I ran in on the day before Halloween and was treated so nicely by Tiffany and Julie, who were genuinely interested in helping me find the right wig for my Halloween costume. It seems so silly (I mean, Halloween!), but I wanted a really good-​quality wig that wouldn’t look cheesy. I described what I wanted and they immediately had three different suggestions. I was able to try on all the wigs I was interested in (of course for hygiene reasons you buy a fresh new wig «cap» for $ 2 or so; you’ll need it for any wig, after all) and they gave me their candid opinion. They certainly did not try to sell me the first thing I put on. They were so friendly and really took time making sure I loved my choice. Even after I’d bought the wig and driven off, I started waffling on the blonde and went right back (better red? better brown?) – and they immediately pulled the different colors to compare. We STILL liked the first one best and I walked out happy. Fantastic experience! Tiffany & Julie were a pleasure, and Don’s Wig Shop is a little gem I never knew existed, right here in Pasadena. I’ll be coming back!

I came in today to get a wig for my Halloween costume. The staff (I believe it was Julie who helped me) was extremely helpful. I showed her a picture of what I needed and she quickly pulled together options for me to choose. I was in and out of the store in about fifteen minutes with exactly what I needed at a great price. I was worried finding a wig to go with my costume was going to be difficult, but it ended up being so easy thanks to this shop!

Great wig place! Very knowledgable staff. Prices are very reasonable and worth a try. Tiffany was particularly very helpful in helping me find a wig that matched my face. In all I’m very pleased and I will definitely be returning.
