This office is awful. I called to make an appointment based off of everyone’s recommendation. I was told that I could not make an appointment without a referral from a patient or doctor. I explained that I found their business online and was told that they do not advertise at all and would not take me despite the fact that there are several reviews online. Then, the receptionist hung up on me. They really ruined my day when I was just trying to make an appointment with a podiatrist in Pasadena.

Dr. Helfand is not only nice and funny, he’s also a great foot specialist. He takes time to explain foot issues to you. He treats you like a person, not as just another random patient. Theresa is also very nice.

I saw Dr. Helfand for a bad case of sesamoiditis and he really helped me out! He was very friendly and took the time to fully explain the problem and prognosis. I was advised to make a small adjustment and it has made such a difference. By the way, he totally could have sold me $ 300 insoles, but told me about a cheaper alternative. yay for good care and saving money!

Doctor Helfand is great. Knowledgeable and friendly. My wife went to him and he took great care of her. He was very patient and took time to explain everything to us. Highly recommended.

I took my eight year old to Dr. Helfand for an ingrown toenail… and wow was he fantastic! He took his time, explained everything to him, made him feel safe and had a great sense of humor. I never felt uneasy or rushed during the visit. When I had a problem… I called him on Monday morning and he spoke to me right away. I love the fact that he has a small practice. You don’t get lost in the shuffle! Great job Dr. Helfand… we’ll definitely recommend you to everyone.
