I came across Firehouse through a friend’s recommendation. For a film project I’m working on, I needed a studio with an available grand piano that can also accomodate a jazz quartet plus singer. Firehouse’s Studio A was perfect for my needs. I was impressed by the spacious facilities and the available technology there. The location was also noteworthy because it’s located right in Old Town Pasadena. Our sound engineer Ed was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I couldn’t ask for anything more. I’d love to use them again for my future recording needs.

This place makes it so you don’t need to go to Hollywood to get an awesome record made. Nice big live room to fit your whole band comfortably, huge concert grand piano, you can even fit a small orchestra in here. Incredible mics, incredible outboard gear. Very digital but they have plenty of vintage gear on the side so you get the best of both worlds– pristine, yet warm. No smoke smell, old studio vibe here, just clean and comfortable with a great kitchen/​client area and excellent Old Town Pasadena location so you can walk to a great tea (Bird Pick) or coffee or meal or massage at Burke Williams after your session!

Love this studio! First found on groupon but have gone back on own. The studio itself is so beautiful modern and clean and the staff is great! Jason is on top of setting times up and great with answering questions. Aaron was our engineer and great to work with.
