Took a while for my food to arrive and you have to get the waitresses attention for a refill. The food is actually pretty good but it doesn’t justify the long wait. I can’t see myself going back with all the other sushi shops on Colorado being a better choice.

I LOVE Go Go Sushi, good sushi, good prices! The owners Mr. Gin and his wife Amy are always welcoming and friendly and I love the waitress Yumi(she is really good at her job!) This is and will continue to be my family’s go to sushi spot in Pasadena!

This is pretty much our go to sushi spot. Are there other places better? Yes. But for the price and the quality, it definitely hits the spot and leaves us satisfied. Their specialty rolls are reasonably priced and they have great $ 3 rolls(salmon skin, drool). They are smaller, but really tasty. And for 3 bucks, how can you complain?

do not eat here! my son was up all night with food poisoning! he loves sushi and eats it all the time at reputable establishments. i took a gamble and my poor son lost! i feel so sorry for him! also, the young waitress had horrible customer service and hardly waited on us. definitely a terrible experience and will never return here or recommend. i hope you heed my warning and take my advice! stay away!

Popped in for lunch before heading off to the Pasadena Playhouse to see Peter Pan and Tinker Bell — A Pirate’s Christmas. Ordered the Go Go Lunch Special $ 13.95, which consists of: Miso Soup, Rice, Tuna/Salmon Sashimi(nice thick chunky slices and fresh too!), with Yellowtail/Tuna/Salmon Sushi, and marinated Salmon(or Chicken or Beef). The fishes were fresh, with nice, thick chunky slices. It was a lot of food! My eyes were hungrier than my stomach, lol!!! I also ordered a 6 piece tuna roll — it was delicious! The wasabi — big serving and very fresh. My sinus cleared up, lol! Served with Iced green tea(free refills, yay!). Service was nice and attentive. Though the food preparation was kinda slow. I would have thought the tuna roll came out first, but not until halfway into my meal. Still, my tummy was happily stuff. Overall, nice sushi place to eat at. This place used to be a conveyor belt sushi joint, but they don’t do that anymore. Too bad — could have pulled a lot more customers in. I would still come back to eat here — good place to catchup with friends and you don’t feel rush eating here.

Excellent hidden gem in S Pasadena. Clean & organized prep bar w incredibly knowledgeable staff that compliment the exceptional service. I like to order thing off the menu or make substitutions, NEVER A PROBLEMHERE. Add that w the reasonable prices, sip beer wine or sake’ Couldn’t ask for more! I’ll definitely be back!

This is by far one if the best Sushi restaurants in Pasadena. Their fish is always fresh, and the price is right. Friendly employees. Monday thru Thursday they have a great appetizer selection at reduced prices. Have been coming here for many years and have never been disappointed.

Located on Colorado Blvd, but a little outside of Old Town Pasadena, Go Go Sushi offers a great lunch special at a great price! It’s in a small plaza next to Lee’s Sandwiches. The parking lot is shared with other businesses, but parking is not an issue. FYI, it used to be a rotating sushi restaurant, but no longer is, so do not expect it to be even though the belt is still at the sushi bar. Their lunch specials are Monday-Saturday from 11am-4pm. They offer a great lunch combo/bento box for only $ 7.95−8.95! Each combo comes with shrimp tempura(1 piece), mixed vegetable tempura(3 pieces), fried gyoza(2 pieces), salad, miso soup, rice, sunomono(pickled cucumbers), and a choice of California rolls(4 pieces) or spicy tuna rolls(4 pieces). With each combo, you have to choose your meat with the selections of chicken teriyaki, spicy chicken teriyaki, Cajun chicken, Cajun beef, beef teriyaki, salmon teriyaki, spicy salmon teriyaki, Cajun salmon, calamari steak teriyaki, chicken katsu, bulgogi, and marinated beef. They also have lunch plates(rice, soup, mixed tempura, sashimi salad, and choice of beef, chicken, or salmon) for $ 12.99 and lunch bowls from $ 6.25−8.75. We tried the chicken teriyaki($ 7.95) and spicy salmon teriyaki($ 8.95) special lunch combo box. The mixed tempura was great because it was not overly battered, not oily, and remained crunchy even later in the meal. Their gyoza was also not oily and was tasty as well. I loved the dressing on their salad! It was different from most Japanese restaurants I’ve been to because it wasn’t a miso or orange flavored dressing. Also, I liked that their teriyaki sauce wasn’t overly sweet or thick. Their spicy tuna was fresh! The spicy salmon teriyaki had a Sriracha flavor and wasn’t overly spicy, but had some heat. The service was very quick, from seating, ordering, and receiving our food. Our waitress was attentive and kept refilling our water, even as it got busy during the lunch hour. I recommend coming for the lunch combo box, as it was very filling, fresh, and delicious, with great service!

This place is great! It was quick to get a seat, open floor plan with a huge horse shoe bar, there is a conveyor belt for easy delivery, the rolls were reasonably priced, fresh and flavorful. We had spicy tuna hand rolls, the Mexican roll and a few others along with chicken teriyaki for the kids. We visit a lot of sushi restaurants in Pasadena and overall this joint is my favorite little sushi spot.

My wife and I come here frequently, a little less now that she is pregnant. but we love this place. The food is great, the pricing is reasonable and I have yet to be disappointed. I recommend the Lobster Roll, Tiger Roll, and the Spicy Tuna Hand Roll. My wife loves the Vegas roll. Give it a try.

Ehhhhh… Not impressed. U can dress up a sushi roll with sauces and plate it nicely, but if you’re really want to verify if you’re getting quality grade A fish, try the sashimi. I had the sashimi salad & the fish was a little warmer than I would like. Kinda grossed me out, and it wasn’t grade A at all. We had the appetizer with the tuna on the wontons, it was pretty good. It was the mayo sauce & the wonton, the fish itself could’ve been better. I would suggest to share this because it’s really rich & the taste can get old after the 1st one. Pricing is alright, they’re weren’t too ambitious with the pricing, so for what I paid for, I suppose it was ok. Service was subpar– the lady talked to her co-worker more than actually servicing people. Think we had to flag her down about 3 – 4 times.

A lot of new rolls I haven’t seen in the past at other sushi places. Food and service are both high quality. And I’ll finish off by saying I LOVEMOCHI

I would say that this place is average. Nothing memorable, but nothing terrible either. That doesn’t mean it’s bad. I think that if you are in the area looking for sushi, this place is acceptable.

Great sushi with a family feel. Comfortable, gets right to the point. I’ve tried many sushi places in LA– but I keep coming back here. Lobster roll is bomb– sashimi salad is amazing and fresh! Their salmon and yellowtail are my favorite. The head chef makes all of his own sauces and side dishes have been consistently fresh. Highly recommend for just good olé sushi.

I think average aptly describes this place. The prices are average and the food was average(well maybe slightly above average). The service however was SLOOOOOOW. It’s probably the slowest service i’ve ever gotten at a sushi place. Honestly I don’t really know what else to write… the menu is pretty standard, the food was pretty decent, and the service was ok(besides the super slow part). I can definitely see this as being a «go to» sushi joint for the locals but I wouldn’t drive out of my way to eat here. Random thought: I’ve eaten at several highly rated sushi places in NorCal recently and honestly they were all probably a little worse than Go Go Sushi… especially if you factor in the substantially higher prices. Why is SoCal so much more awesome than NorCal?

«Go Go sushi» go go away from here! Waited about 35 minutes to be served mediocre sushi. And I believe they hurried up with my order because I asked how much longer. Then they took10 minutes on top of that for every item we order, ridiculous! !! This place is supposed to be a revolving sushi, but the only thing revolving on that belt was a hot sauce. The only reason for 2 stars was for the sashimi portion and price.
