Best dentist ever. Dr. Willcox takes care of my entire family.

Been going to Dr. Willcox’s office for 20 years. The staff is nice and he’s pretty funny. They take good care of my teeth too.

Best person. Best dentist. Best Willcox.

He is an excellent dentist with compassion and a light touch. He is very conservative which is a fantastic after all who wants dental work if not really necessary? Very friendly pleasant staff. As you can see by my reviews I have been to quite a few dentist during my years on this earth and I vote him one of the best in Pasadena.

Dr. Willcox is wonderful, and his staff is great, too. I never had any problems with anyone there. I had several appointments with Willcox. He listened to me, answered all my questions, was always professional and respectful, patient, friendly, etc. He explained everything to me clearly so that I felt informed about what was going on and what my options were with everything. At my request, he removed an old wire that my middle school orthodontist had cemented onto my lower front teeth (to keep them in place, but it was unsightly, because it had 2 metal bars going around my lower canines) and he had a clear plastic (or some other material?) retainer made for me. I now wear that retainer every night and I do not have to deal with the old ugly metal around my lower teeth anymore. Dr. Willcox also filled a small cavity I had. It was my first (and only) cavity ever, so I was a little afraid, but he took care of it, no problem. I also had a cleaning done at Willcox’s office and everything went fine with that.
A previous dentist (coughArrobiocough) had refused to remove the old metal/​wire contraption from my mouth (which had been there for about 15 years!) and he had not explained why. I also overheard him telling his assistants that he was waiting to see if my cavity would get worse!!! So I was very thankful when I found Willcox, because he solved ALL those problems for me. I wish I could still have Dr. Willcox as my dentist, but, unfortunately, I had to move away due do my husband’s job.
Bottom line, if you are in the Pasadena area and you need a dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Willcox!

Great staff, very nice dentist. I’d put off dental work for several years before deciding to try Dr. Willcox. I had some reasonably intense work done (fillings replaced, crown replaced, bite adjustment.) Now I go for a cleaning every 6 months like clockwork because it’s a stress-​free experience in that office. Dr. Willcox is very skilled and professional. Unlike some other dentists I’ve been to, he doesn’t pressure you to get work done. His attitude seems to be more: «let’s watch this,» or «we don’t need to do anything unless you have X symptom.»

Dr. Wilcox is hands down one of the best dentists in the Pasadena area. He is more of an artist than a dentist. I came into his office with a need for 9 yes 9 fillings where porcelain wasn’t covered by my insurance so I had to pay out of pocket.
First off, he truly is amazing at what he does and patient happiness is at the top of his priorities. I had all nine cavities filled within a few months (as fast as I could schedule them) and each one is stronger than ever.
His prices for cosmetic dentistry not covered by insurance are spectacular for Pasadena and his service is incomparable — believe me — i searched through 4 dentists before I found Grant — he’s truly fantastic.
