I got a great haircut today from Joey and intend to go back! A little more costly than I’m used to, but worth it. Open 7 days a week too!

Where to start with this review… do I start with the great customer service? Do I start with the hair cut? No let’s start with a little background information. So I’ve been getting my hair cut here on and off for years I started working all day shifts so a hair cut didn’t fall into his normal work hours. After about a year of getting my hair cut at this place on los Robles that’s open until 2AM(yes 2 in the morning) I finally started to work normal hours again! I hadn’t been there in well over a year and when I walk in they greet me by my name! Even with the amount of heads they cut they still remember customer names… To me that’s a beautiful thing. Sit there for a hour or so and you’ll see that people treat these guys like their friends not just barbers, they remember names, faces and details that make you want to come back. I’ve read a ton of barber reviews on local shops and people seem to think you can’t get a great hair cut for less than 20.00 dollars… this place charges 12 so unless you give an 8 dollar tip you’re under 20 for a GREAT hair cut. I went from tapers, to getting trims to a low taper with a side part… now I’m getting under cuts and they’re perfect! I’m a customer for life

These are the Best Barbers in Southern California. As far as I’m concerned, they are the best in the world. I was in the military and was stationed everywhere, so when I say«In The World», I mean the world. I grew up in Pasadena, I started going to Tony’s Barber shop on Lake Street at a very young age and Julio would cut my hair. When Obed started working with Julio in the early 90’s, I thought I ‘d use the new guy(Obed), I was tired of waiting for Julio because there was always a very long wait. Best decision I ever made because he’s been my Barber ever since(I think it’s been 19 years now). I moved all around Southern California,(Pomona, Corona, Anaheim, San Pedro) and I ‘ve always stayed loyal. Ocassionally, I would try the local Barber in the town I was living, but always would regret it afterward. I always would have to see Obed to fix what the other barber’s did so I’ve stopped trying anyone else. Saul and Obed has trained all of the Barbers in their establishment so everyone has skills. I still live in San Pedro and I still make my trek to Pasadena twice a month(I wish they could open a shop in San Pedro, they need one down here). The wait is never long but its always best to make an appointment, if you don’t, it can be hit or miss sometimes(especially on the Weekends). All of the Barbers her are in high demand. I am not looking forward to when Obed retires, he’s the best, but I know I will be in good hands because the other Barbers are good.

The best Barbers in Pasadena! The two business partners Saul & Obed are top-notch and best of the best. I’ve been going to these guys for almost 15 years. Saul and Obed used to work at different barber shops before they became business partners and opened Great Unisex and since they have seen nothing but success. I moved away from Pasadena and one of my biggest concerns was finding another Barber shop with similar skilled staff. Fortunately, I still work in the area so I call my barber of choice in advance to schedule an appointment to make sure my time there is short. The place gets busy with walk-ins so appointments are highly recommended. The ambiance there is chill and these guys crack jokes all day. There is plenty of parking in the back but if you happen to park on Lake Ave. make sure you turn your wheels to the curb or you will get a ticket. It doesn’t matter if you’re looking for the coolest fade or a simple line up or taper these guys take their time and do it thoroughly and right. I personally would recommend this Barber shop to anyone seeking a fresh clean cut!
