Joie

I remember waiting not so patiently for this store to open. I worked at another retail store down the street, lived nearby, and stared at it every day willing it to open. Needless to say, when it did, it didn’t disappoint. I promptly went in, marveled at how beautiful it was, and spent way too much money.
Since moving to the east coast, not much has changed haha. I have worked with multiple amazing sales girls from this location, and have become good friends with them in the process. Which brings me to Desiree — love her, shes like my soul twin, has amazing style, and knows exactly what I will like, what I will fit in, and how to make me look like I know how to adult (I don’t, at all, but it’s fun pretending).
I also really really appreciated the first time that I talked to her she asked if I prefer being called by my full name of my nickname, and has paid really close attention to what types of fabric/​fits/​etc… that I like and don’t like. She even mentioned in our first conversation that she knows that I hate anything remotely itchy, which struck me as really really awesome of her to pay attention to. Its the little things.
Love her, love joie, love it all.

Very nice sales people

Joie is one of my favorite brands! It’s also fair trade, which is always a plus :)

I love Joie… I mean, who doesn’t, right?
Even though I normally pick up Joie from department stores such as Bloomingdales or Nordstrom, I had a voucher I had to use up and happened to be passing the Joie in Pasadena.
Overall, it was a great shopping experience. Sales ladies were all pretty chill and didn’t bother me while I carefully looked through the whole store, yet were so attentive when I picked couple items I wanted to try on! Sarah was the girl who helped me out and she was very nice looking up the blouse in the color I wanted by calling other stores and all & even sent me postcards in the mail which is always a pleasant surprise.
Hence, I am writing this review.
If you like Joie, you like to shop in peace yet have friendly sales ladies that are more than willing to help you, then go here! You will sure spend a bit more than you had expected!
