Loved my white peach tea! They sweeten it for you with honey. It was a bit of a wait to get our tea(I think they brew it in the back).

Here’s what I had: — Jamaican — very bland and weak. Tasted like water with a very small amount of some generic tea mixed in. 1⁄5 — Earl Gray — strong, herbal and had a biting spice flavor to it. 5⁄5 — Chai Tea — tasted like a weak, bland version of the Earl Gray. It also tasted watered down. 2⁄5 Overall: The Earl Gray is the only thing worth getting here. But if you really wanted some tea you are better off just buying some tea packets at your local market or Amazon and making it yourself. It would be much cheaper and you would get a lot more for your money.

Le Souk is a tiny concession in the Indiana Colony in Old Town Pasadena. For such a small space, they pack enormous amounts of spices, salts, teas displayed appealingly in open containers as if at an open air bazaar in far off Morocco, but unfortunately you can’t haggle for a better price here, as well as brewing you«cup a tea» w/natural sugar or Stevia leaf sweetener for $.50 extra. They have Chia Hibiscus Cooler on the weekends only. I lucked out in having an understatedly charming, suave, knowledgeable young man giving me information on the various salts. I chose the Red Alaea Salt & the Black Lara Salt because of their dramatic colors of jet black & burnt sienna. They will be dramatic condiments on the table during a more formal sit down dinner party. The packaging is ultra modern. Instead of getting the salt in a crumpled paper bag, it is sealed in re-sealable heavy duty air-tight plastic to maintain freshness. «A souq was originally an open-air marketplace. Historically, souqs were held outside cities at locations where incoming caravans stopped and merchants displayed their goods for sale. Souqs formed whenever a caravan or caravans arrived. Since this might be infrequent, souqs often extended beyond buying and selling goods to include major festivals involving various cultural and social activities. Any souq might serve a social function by being a place to meet, in addition to its commercial function.» Le Souk Spices & Teas: 4– Unilocal stars

Cute little spices and tea shop located inside a shared space on Colorado in Pasadena. They sell a huge abundance of spices and a variety of teas. The sales girl that helped me was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. She helped me find the perfect teas to try! I picked up the belly blaster, lavender, and mango hibiscus. The quality of their teas is excellent! Prices are high compared to other places but it’s worth it if you’re treating yourself to a nice cup of tea.

These spices are amazing! I first bought them at the Hermosa Beach Fiesta Hermosa Fair a couple months back and fell in love with the BBQ spice and the White Meat spice. Definitely going to be buying more soon!!! Boring contest prep food be gone!

High quality teas and spices in this cozy building that also houses Pie Hole, Coolhaus, a flower shop and other shops. I had a cup of Orchid Vanilla tea and bought a packet of Royal Cupcake tea to try at home. Also bought a packet of rice paella seasoning. Parked at the Schoolhouse garage on Fair Oaks and we didn’t have to pay anything because we were in and out in 90 minutes.

Nice little spice shop located in old town. I had a hard time finding dried lavender, glad I found a local place that sells it loose.

I stumbled upon Le Souk Spices and Teas when going to Coolhaus located in the nicely renovated Indiana Colony Bldg. All spices and teas are open and available for inhaling their fine fragrance, and certainly open for discussing with the very knowledgeable behind-the-counter employee. I so appreciated what they had to say about each tea/spice that I bought some Italian Herb Seasoning… it was truly an intoxicating aroma. I would have also bought some tea, but we have so much of it at home already. I was thoroughly impressed, however.

Stumbled upon Le Souk in the back of the Indiana Colony complex, next to Pie Hole. Specialty teas and spices, pretty to look at. The young man behind the counter was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I got a cup to go of the coconut black tea. A cup of tea is $ 3.75 no matter the flavor which is a lot for a casual to go cup, but worth it if you’re into tea and want to savor an interesting flavor and cheaper than sitting in a fancy tea room. The man took care of steeping the tea for me which I like, shows a degree of expertise. I will definitely come back to try more flavors when I feel like treating myself. You can get larger quantities of tea to take home.
