So this Macy’s location is going out of business! I came here today and learned that for the first time. The employee in the men’s shoes section told me they started the going out of business sale on January 7. Horrible how I didn’t know about that earlier, but anyways, they are currently offering 50– 70% off everything, and I mean EVERYTHING(They are even selling the tables and fixtures). Oh and by the way, the guy working in the men’s shoes also told me that they will probably only be around for another 2 weeks or so. Anyways, in general, I rarely went to this Macy’s because of the parking situation(free 2 hour underground parking with validation) and also that there really isn’t that many shops in the Paseo Mall that really appealed to me. I much rather shop at the Macy’s at the Westfield Santa Anita Mall in Arcadia. But anyways, whenever I did come here, I would sometimes find things that I was looking for to buy and sometimes I wouldn’t. I feel like this particular location was smaller than the other Macy’s at other malls(especially a bit smaller than the other Macy’s stores in Pasadena). Oh and one thing I just have to mention is that what is quite unique about this location is that they allow dogs inside their store(since Pasadena is such a dog friendly city). But overall, I never really had any problems here. All the employees were generally pretty nice here of those that I had interacted with during each visit. Sad to see that another store is going out of business, which shows how our economy is still not improving, but am looking forward to see what will open in it’s place.

Going out of business so feel silly writing a review, but here it goes. Because this place is going out of business they are having a huge sale, but don’t be tricked. All the prices are raised up to MSRP then put on sale, so it isn’t the best deals around, but it is still good. There is very slim pickings, but if you hunt you can still find some stuff. I got a work shirt and pants for $ 50, so I’m happy. Can’t say I’ll miss this place given that there are two more a few miles away.

This Macy’s will be closing in the next 5 – 7 weeks. Everything is on sale. But it’s only around 30−50% max off. Not too great of a deal unless it’s one of those items that you probably never see on sale. Otherwise, shop on Amazon. Parking is decent, but still a bit of a hassle/inconvenience with how crowded it was on a Saturday afternoon. Best to go in the morning. $ 6 with validation, $ 9 without. May not be any underground parking available, though. And plenty of crazy drivers Honestly, a lot of good stuff is gone. But, there might be a few more awesome items left if you search hard…

Wow, mixed feeling about this place closing. What will take its place? Will I still have easy access to the mall if entering on Los Robles and Green? Will the sale prices get any lower than 20−50% off? Why is the cosmetics excluded when the signs clearly say«Nothing Held Back» I’m nervous about the future of this location, but nevertheless say goodbye to this Macy’s FOREVER!!! There’s another larger Macy’s located blocks away on Lake…

This is a review on their service in cosmetics section. These people are completely unaware of the products that they give out, especially gifts. I purchased some makeup for a xmas gift for my mother who ended up not liking it. I returned it in the same bag I bought it in along with the receipt and some card mentioning a new product. I bought the product at another Macy’s but I came to this one to return as I was in the area. The lady working at the counter saw my receipt and said I had to also return the gift that I received as a gift had also been scanned along with the product I purchased. I told the lady that I did not receive any other gift besides the card/coupon. The lady did not believe that the card was the gift and told me she could not accept the return and that I would have to go back to the original Macy’s to return it… Well it turns out that it was the card that was the supposed gift and I wasted another trip to find a different Macy’s to discover that. Either this lady is trying to filter out returns to get better commission or she’s just retarded and unaware of what gifts the company is giving out. Would not return again.
