Best McDonald’s in the area. Very fast service & always a friendly face when you go here!

This place is always filthy. Management is unprofessional and can be heard yelling at staff. They also don’t care if their employees are throwing up. Very very poor management.

Went through the drivethru waited in a long line and received absolute slop. The mcmuffin I ordered was inedible. Went inside to see a manager at 7:15 am (busy time) and was told the manager was not available due to an «important phone call.»
Thank goodness for Cathy who took care of me. 16 minutes later I was finally out of the door. The beepers all sounding and still no sign of the manager. Will not return to this one.

My order was correct however the milkshake machine was broken and I didn’t get a straw for my drink, so be sure to check your bag if in the drive thru

McDonald’s as a whole is a excellent company, as a privately owned franchise on the other hand, there is room for improvement. With so many fast food options on the market each franchised or corporate owned McDonald’s is always one upping each other. New McCafe here, larger double serving McCafe there, only the Fort Smallwood McDonalds would be so bold to sit back and watch the other locations remodel, and improve while they keep the looks the same, and work on what really matters most: The Food!
Even though, this location lacks all the shiny gilts of the recently remodeled McD’s they have over came those changes and replaced those improvements with: excellently prepared and hot food, attentive service, and just a overall positive experience every time I visit.
I highly recommend this location, if you ever are in the area, to stop in!
