BEWARE of PASADEADAYSPA At 1143 S. Fair Oaks. The worse place ever, Lisa the Owners ought to be a shame of themselves this place its dirty, no parking, noisey and they give terrible massage. They speak Chinese only and the owner is always yelling at there workers. And the workers are amateurs and really don’t even know hoe to give a massage. Stay far away from this lousy place phony place. It’s a straight up money pit and its a dive.

I used to come here every two weeks but stopped because my chosen masseuse started slacking off. Why does this always happen to me? I always tip her generously and this is how she treats me? The sessions were getting shorter and shorter and when I tell her where the target area is, she would ignore me. *sigh* You just lost yourself a loyal customer.

I came here on a friend’s recommendation. $ 50 for an hour massage sounded good, and lord knows I was in need of a massage. I called a few days prior to set an appointment. I showed up to my appointment time and the people at the front desk knew nothing about it. Nice. As they scrambled around for a masseuse, they had me pay upfront and shuffled me into a room. This room appeared to be their facial room, I got ready and laid down on the bed. This was not a massage bed so the«face hole» was tiny and I knew I was going to have issues. After lying there for a minute or two, a lady came and asked me to wait another 10. Emily then came in and proceeded to massage me. She didn’t ask me any questions and just went at it. It was a combination of tiny pulses and then some vigorous rubbing. I didn’t know what to expect, but for sure it was not a deep tissue massage. I felt uncomfortable and was unable to relax. I couldn’t breathe properly and was anxious to leave. There was no visable timer so I have no idea how she was keeping track of the time, but I know for a fact I was shorted 10 minutes. At this point I didn’t care, I just wanted to get out. What’s the point of fighting or arguing? And so I didn’t leave tip as a result. I wouldn’t want another 10 minutes of lack luster«massaging» anyways. Be prepared to encounter limited English-speaking workers, some worse than others. I think if it were not for this, I would have spoken to somebody about Emily’s work. ***UPDATE on 04/02/13*** According to my friend that recommended me to PDS, the possible reason for the lack luster massage and poor service is that I am not Chinese. Not because I was a first time(female) customer. Two of my buddies attempt to prove this theory. Friend #1, the regular, walks in with no appointment and is seen by —–(name withheld at my friend’s request) and has an excellent massage. Friend #2, of Korean descent, attempts to walk in 30 minutes later and is given a tough time by the front desk but they still agree to see him. They make him wait 15 minutes for Lily and is given a terrible, half-assed massage. You know what’s funny? He ended up in the same facial room that I did! I guess that’s the«torture chamber» or where the dregs go. So, take this update for what it is. I know Friend #1 is a regular, but he believes that because he is Chinese, he receives much better service. Which is why he is able to go enough to be a regular. The girls always laugh and flirt with him before, during, and after the massage, but were dead silent with me and my Korean friend.

Found this spa not far from me and I was thrilled that I did. Nana gives a great massage that truly works the knots out and leaves you feeling new. Very friendly staff with great smiles! Clean facility and very professional. Reasonably priced, too, for what you get.
