Pasadena Piano Academy is one of the few schools that offers a beginning adult piano class with of maximum of four students. I signed up for the 8 week winter course with the goal of learning to play a Christmas carol for my family. Vivian is an awesome instructor and motivator. Not only did I learn «Jingle Bells», in addition, Vivian had me playing it in 4 different key signatures so anyone could sing along with me. She also offers students a solid foundation in music theory to really grasp musical concepts. I highly recommend Pasadena Piano Academy.

Vivian is an amazing teacher. It is very evident that she cares a lot about her students. We attend the parent and me class and our son has learned music, sign language and flexibility among other things. We feel confident that he is acquiring the skills that are preparing him to learn music. She makes it fun and has a great rapport with the kids. I highly recommend the Pasadena Piano Academy.
