My beloved peets. I come here every morning practically and get a perfect latte every time. Out of all the fancy coffee places in the area, none will ever be able to replace the greatness that is peets. It’s your friendly neighborhood coffee shop and everything Starbucks wishes it could be. Too bad they could never make a latter to save their life. Peets is where it’s at !

I Love Pete’s coffee but this location is a bummer. It is typical to walk in and find yourself waiting in a line of 10 – 15 people or more! Some of the employees have a crap attitude and the ambiance feels like a cafeteria or a railway station with hardly a seat available. Some of the employees are nice but they are clearly overwhelmed. It’s hard to meet friends here to relax and talk like we can in other coffee houses because it’s so busy and loud and you can’t find a place to sit. I guess as long as the dollars keep flowing customer satisfaction will have to take a back seat.

great location in pasadena attached to einsteins bagel. easy parking, friendly staff, great options and coffee. It can be slow at times due to new staff or training people, but they are usually very nice and acknowledges you. decent pastries to go with your coffee.

Stopped in with my cousin after he arrived from LAX. Grabbed a quick cold drink while he got some coffee. The place was packed with a bunch of people doing stuff on their laptops so this is place to be if you want to come in and get some work done. Staff was very friendly and the line was very short especially when it was late in the afternoon. You’ll be happy you dropped by and your taste buds will be happy too. ;)

I truly love this location! I use to live right down the street, and would walk here all the time. Ever since I started French Pressing and experimenting with pour over coffee, I haven’t sat down and had a cup of coffee in a while. I love their bean quality. I like slightly roasted coffee, and I would always buy their Garuda blend, which I now know is a very roasted bean. I came in one day looking for a new bean to try and I was met by many friendly baristas who gave me a couple of options to try. I ended up liking the Uzuri African Blend the most. The location of this coffee shop is awesome! It is connected to Einsteins Bagels, so you can grab some food and drink some coffee. They have their own parking lot, so you don’t have to worry about finding parking on the street. The atmosphere is excellent. It is dark and relaxing. If you want some good coffee, check this place out!

Cashier was a bit rude, I managed to not snap back at her and tried to understand she may have been cranky due to the large crowds, volume from the crowd or whatever the hell was her issue but when you’re going to grab a latte first thing in the morning the last thing you want to be greeted with is «I didn’t hear a word you said! Except extra shot» Ummm No, I never said Extra Shot anything but after being a total rude B perhaps I should have an extra shot on the house. We had a gift card to Peet’s but never drink franchise coffee for several different reasons. My non fat salted caramel macchiato was just ok, my boyfriends drip coffee was lackluster compared to what we brew at home. We still have a few bucks on our gift card but probably won’t return to this location.

Ordered 4.5 gallons of coffee for our office party in the am after speaking with one of Pete’s staff the day before. Pick up was supposed to be at 4:30 pm. When we got to Pete’s to pick the coffee up, we were told that it was not ready since their coffee machines were not working for the entire day. Do you think someone could have picked up the phone to call and tell us that so that we would have a contingency plan? Heck no… not their party, not their problem. They didn’t even apologize or care. Thank goodness for Starbucks across the street. Saved the day. Will not order anything from them ever again. UGH

I buy all my coffee here. This store is great, staff is great, coffee is great. The Einstein’s Bagels next door is very convenient.

*This review is for one item: Blended Matcha Green Tea w/almond milk, size medium* I understand it’s a really busy Saturday which is a reason why I just left not asking for a refund or have them make it for me again. The $ 5 I paid for this drink was not what I ordered. It tasted like ****almond milk w/matcha green tea powder shaken up w/ice so it’s cold and there’s some foam on to**** I’ll post pics but the cup wasn’t even remotely close to the top. And this is a blended drink not an iced drink. So disappointed that I had to wait 20 minutes for this drink. I’m sure their other drinks are fine or if a different barista made my drink it wouldnt have turned out to be such crap. Since I dont know if it was busyness and/or barista that had to do w/the complete failure of this drink, I will still go back here when its not busy to try out this drink again & revise my review as necessary.

Peets coffee in general is a great place to get coffee. The quality is great, they open super early, and baristas are friendly. It’s the closest coffee shop near my house and I go there almost every weekday to get my morning coffee.

We are the«Peet’s» family. Hubby loves their coffee and almost only drinks their coffee. He is always in charge of purchasing the coffee until today– I am the one needs to stop by the store; otherwise we won’t have breakfast coffee tomorrow! Arika was very helpful. She answered all the questions since I wasn’t sure how the gift card/free drink system work. She is patient and with smile all the time. Maybe I will take my husband’s «coffee job» and have a coffee break here next time!

Be ready to stand in line. This store always has a line and a full house! The baristas are nice, courteous and professional. Sometimes it’s hard to hear over the glass when ordering so be prepared to work your calves standing on tip toe! The coffee here is good and STRONG. It’ll have you bouncing off the walls! I like to stick to the classics but have tried some of their seasonal drinks and they’re pretty tasty. I highly recommend you try them at least once! Enjoy your cup!

I’m a huge fan of Peet’s Coffee for their quality of drinks. You can clearly taste the difference of their coffee compared to Starbucks. Unfortunately, Starbucks is more convenient with its many locations. You’ll be lucky to run into a Peet’s Coffee location. [Location/Ambiance] Shares a space with Einstein’s Bagel which can be convenient for breakfast or lunch. There’s plenty of seats indoors and some outdoor patio seating. [Service] I’ve either always had good service here or I don’t notice anything else because I’m too focused on getting some coffee. [Food/Drink Highlights] — caramel macchiato(iced or hot) — Javivas(their blended ice drinks) so rich and smooth!

Best almond milk latte around. I just prefer their espresso to that of the other usual options, and their coffee is great, too. Been buying bags of beans to grind at home for the first cup in the morning. There’s a sbux &CBTL on the same street and I’ll pass’em both up to go to Peet’s — every time. Staff is always pleasant and courteous — they get to know their regulars and most times I don’t’ even need to give my order, they just know. There’s generally plenty of places to sit inside or out. Clean bathroom, free 90 minute parking with validation. If they make a mistake on your order(which if you go often enough, hey, it happens here or anywhere) they make a new one without question. I’ve been to other coffee shops where they seem annoyed or put out by having to re-do drinks, never had that issue here.

I have become a regular here. I come at different times during the day and there’s always a place to sit. The staff is really nice and they make your drinks as you order them, never any mistakes. I’ll be coming here everyday until the close down

I met up here with a few friends to catch up. Located southern part of Lake where residential areas start, this location is a great place since it has an open patio with seats in the same plaza as Fresh & Easy and Einstein’s Bagels. The staff here is friendly and the lines aren’t very long. If you’re sick of the typical Starbucks or CBTL, Peet’s is a good option if you run into one. I had an iced jasmine lime tea which was surprisingly good. I basically said. I’ll have what’s she’s having knowing my friend comes here often. To my delight, it was refreshing and not overly sweet. When I run into a Peet’s, I’ll be craving for their iced jasmine lime tea. Ample parking can be found in the plaza past California Ave.

Its just cause I’m a Starbucks fanatic. Pros: –vanilla latte, soy was pretty good –good customer service –pretty efficient –clean Con’s: –there’s no more bear claw –they don’t put the lid on the drink for you(like what if I accidentally spill it walking the drink to the counter of lids?!?) — they didn’t warm up or offer to warm up my pastries — banana but bread was mushy and too sweet –blueberry danish could’ve been better if warmed up

Love the Peet’s in Pasadena. Been to alot of coffee shops in Pasadena, and Peet’s is one of the best. The interior is clean and has multiple places to sit. I especially like sitting near the windows, where you can watch the cars drive by and you have a great view of the San Gabriel mountains. There’s also some patio seating if sitting outside is your thing. The coffee shop is right next to an Einstein’s Bagel, so you can get your bagel fix if you like too. Now onto the coffee. I’ve tasted alot of coffee around the area and I have to say that Peet’s and Jameson Brown are the best. Jones Coffee Roasters is pretty good too. You can definitely taste the beans in their coffee and latte’s. I usually order the Vanilla Café Latte and you can really taste the roasted beans and vanilla. The quality is on par with Intelligentsia. Cons: They blast the air conditioning so it’s funny to see alot of customers wearing jackets and sweaters inside while the weather is roughly 90 °F outside. But I think the thermostat is fine. Sometimes, the seating area can get a little bit congested when there are alot of customers sitting down. Overall, great coffee shop with quality coffee!

Peet’s is the best and I’m so glad I found out about this one on my way to work! First off, parking is pretty chill as far as I know because I just stop in before work to grab a cup. They have a private lot with some guy working the front gate, who asks if you’ll be less than 20min. I guess if you stay longer you may have to pay, I cannot be sure about that though. It’s also next door/connected to Einstein bagels and shares a complex with fresh n easy! This is cool for those who missed their breakfast. The coffee place itself is so gorgeous! I love that they have bar seating, in addition to indoor and outdoor tables. I have a preference for French pressed coffee, and they offer that with whatever grinds they have available… which is a lot! I’ve been just going down the list trying a different one, whenever I feel like being adventurous. The French pressed coffees take a few minutes, but I am perfectly happy with just waiting at the bar and watching the morning crowd. It’s never been insanely crowded, and when there is a line, it moves quickly. The baristas are always super friendly every time I’ve come in. Love the service here. The taste of the coffee is also perfection, nothing beats Peet’s! I just wish they had salt, so they could add a pinch to the coffee grinds before they let it brew… also I wish this were walking distance from my work, but I’ll settle for a little detour on my way. It’s worth the effort.
