Dr. Rosen is very kind, thorough and appears to really care about me as a patient. He tries to ensure that he ascertains what I need to maximize my vision. While his equiment is not the latest, and he might lack the highest tech gizmos, I’m confident that he knows what he’s doing and he gives me an accurate perscription. To me, that is what really matters. Obtaining an appointment has never been a problem and they are very responsive. They really give personalized service, this is not like going to some huge, impersonal chain or clinic.

I found this place randomly through the VSP website, so I gave it a go with no other information available. The place is quaint. You will feel like you stepped back into the 70s when you walk in here. The lady at the front desk was polite. The doctor was much, much older than others I have had, so he tests my vision using cards that look like they are from yesteryear. My appointment lasted nearly two hours, and not because I have some sort of special vision issue but because everything(including himself) moved soooo slowly. When all was said and done, it took at least 15 minutes of me waiting for the prescription to be written. Even though the glasses I brought in were 3 – 4 years old, he told me I was fine with them since I was able to see most things, even though I said I think I needed them clearer like my contacts. Worst of all, when he wrote the script for my glasses, he back-dated it to 3 – 4 years ago, so I can’t even get a replacement pair! I should have complained, but the place reeked of incompetence, and I frankly just found the guy too frail to complain to. So now I’m stuck with 4-year-old glasses and can only hope that some place will make me new glasses with it since the integrity of my pair has worn down understandably over the years.
