Last round they burned the kid’s meatball sandwich we got. Unacceptable. We’ll try them again but that was a big downer. If you burn something, why would you deem it acceptable for a delivery to a customer? Other food was fine.

The sandwiches are good and well portioned. They offer a lot of options for a tiny place. The wait is long so I recommend calling your order in ahead of time.

While it’s awesome that they serve breakfast all day and authentic tiramisu the service here is phenomenal. The staff is friendly and will help you decide on the right sand which. The Midwestern is my favorite followed closely by the turkey Brazilian. Check this place out!

Stopped in this week to grab some sandwiches for dinner. I had the Cuban and my wife the turkey breast. We both ordered chile. The sandwiches were ‘OK’ but not great and the chile was underwhelming. All in all, not someplace worth going out of the way to go eat. I thought it a bit pricy and we may return. may not.

After reading reviews, and looking for something a little different than the local pizza and sub shop or Chinese food, I thought I would give this place a try. I was extremely disappointed. Maybe this place just isn’t a good dinner place but, a better lunch place. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad, the chicken was just frozen chicken paddy cut up, the dressing was more like Italian, and straight out of a bottle, then Caesar. Also ordered a pastrami sandwich on rye while the quantity was huge, obviously no one there has ever had a pastrami sandwich. Also ordered their $ 4 dollar cheesecake for dessert, it was more like angel food cake soaked in milk, all cake no cheese, I’ve never had cheesecake like this. I was not happy with any part of my meal.

Decent little shop for being attached to a gas station. Ordered online — a nice feature. Had the Cobb salad which was good. I have a feeling though that they are pre made and pulled out upon order. I had a few pieces of salad that were wilted and soggy.

I wasn’t so sure about eating here because it’s connected to a gas station! That’s just being honest! Lol, a lot of those places aren’t the cleanest but for once I decided to live a little… I ordered and love the BRAZZILIANROASTEDSANDWICH! The pesto gives it this sweet/salty/spicy thing that I love! It was well toasted, in other words not crazy hard, and a good sized sandwich. As another reviewer said the thing I HATE most is them not wearing GLOVES!!! Sure they wash their hands but just thinking about them not using gloves makes me shake! Lol…

Great Deli. Its nice theres finally a deli located in the Glen Burnie/Severna Park area. So far, I have had the HERO and Reuben. Both have been excellent. Also, their delivery is quite fast.

This is a good deli situated in an unfortunate location. Attached to a gas station, it is a hole-in-the-wall place serving all Boar’s Head meats on a variety of breads. Breakfast sandwiches just add a fried egg to everything and it wasn’t appealing when I saw that the eggs had been pre-fried and were sitting in a metal pan. I had the Italino and there was too much meat, more than adequate mayonnaise and a few tomatoes and red onions. The«sourdough» bread was not toasted and pretty much just white bread. I ate half of the sandwich and it was more than enough. It’s a sandwich place and not much more. My son, had the ruben and it was hot and good, but nothing to rave about. The guy next to us had biscuits and gravy and it looked like any other white gravy over a reasonable biscuit. The place has maybe six tables, potato chips of all kinds, bottle soft drinks as well as fountain and a barrel of pickles. It’s a Subway with better meats. The men working the grill were very pleasant, but this place is bare bones and not really a deli. I love cold cuts and a good sandwich so I gave it three stars, but that’s a stretch.

After reading several reviews and noting the bacon mayo, I swung by to give this place a go… and I’m disappointed at best. I ordered the Italiano — the lunch meats were pretty solid and the mayo, although used a bit aggressively, was also good. The bread was average at best(I switched to a sub roll because they were touted by some reviews as homemade and I’m a firm believer that the bread makes the sandwich) and it was very reminiscent of a store bought hoagie roll. I also got a bowl of their chili which was a little steep @ $ 4 a bowl, but noticed a review when I found this place that touted it as the ‘best chili I’ve ever had’ so I gave it a go. It must have been Opposite Day when that review was written because the chili was watery, way way way too sweet, and with zero spice to speak of to counter/complement the sweetness. I pride myself on being able to eat at least one of anything I try, even if I don’t like it, but this chili was the exception to the rule. Not good. And this was the first time I’ve had croutons in chili(and I eat a ton of chili — perhaps that was their strategy to thicken things up — if so, it didn’t work). Initially I was going to give this place 3 stars but I dropped down to 2 for one reason — the guy who made my sandwich was clearly eating the entire time he made my food AND he wasn’t wearing gloves. And then the lady who rung me up, made my bowl of chili for me, AND(wait for it…) she didn’t wear gloves either! She went straight from ringing me up to digging her hands in the croutons, cheese, and onion without batting an eyelash. Pretty gross. Dear Pasadena — it’s time to raise your standards. The deli meat is good but the rest leaves a bit to be desired.

Superb! We love it here! Staff is awesome and sooooooo hospitable, they make you feel so welcome. The sandwiches are not your average subway or Quiznos basic ones. They are inventive, delicious, and of great value. The hero is Hubba’s favorite and the turkey Brazilian is amazing. More like a sandwich treat than a sub or sandwich shop, Simple Sands is simply my favorite sandwich treat. Go there now and tell them Ky T. Sent you!

Stopped in here after spending a morning at Kinder Farm Park. Between my husband, myself, and our four kids we got: Turkey Club, Chicken Cesar Wrap, Kids Grilled Cheese, and an order of French toast with bacon. Everything was delicious and obviously freshly made. We had to take home half of both large sandwiches. It’s a small shop but even at noon on a Saturday it wasn’t packed. Seems like most people order for pickup or delivery. Will definitely come back when we are in the are!

Great little deli with a good breakfast menu. Not just your standard bfast sandwiches either but some unique concoctions as well. I got the Breakfast Brazilian(see photo). Smoked turkey, Swiss, bacon, egg, pesto, and Brazilian pepper sauce. Wow. Delicious. My wife got a Bacon Egg and Cheese on Toast and devoured it. Lots of crisp bacon. A friend got the Sausage Patty Sandwich which is simply two patties with egg, and cheese in an English muffin. Two patties is the key. Looked like a burger. Might have to come back for that one. Full size deli counter, a free fountain soda(with purchase of a sandwich) for Unilocalers, delivery, and just an overall great little place for breakfast or lunch.

Ordered from GrubHub, was ready when I arrived. Had the veggie wrap. Unfortunately, it had too much sauce and it was dripping everywhere. The flavor profile was good, but it was soggy. Located next to a gas station; may be off-putting to some.

Boy I rarely go against the majority when the ratings are so good, because I usually have an equal experience. Not this time. Ordered the Brazilian Roasted Pork sandwich and a Reuben. My first bite in I was so not impressed. The bread was wet, and though there were grill marks on the panini the fillings were not even warm. My mouth burned from the«over» seasoned components of this sammie, and no flavor stood out but the pesto. There was absolutely no porkiness to the pork(I could have been eating sliced tofu), never tasted any red onion or pepper mayo, and gouda which has quite a bit of punch was tasteless and unmelted. Nothing worked here. Zero. A few more bites after trying to wipe away the pesto and the meal was thrown in the trash. What a waste of food and money. The Reuben looked great. A nice stack of beef, sauerkraut, swiss and Russian dressing. Result. Tasteless. We could not believe how such strong flavored components could be so bland and underwhelming. It was like eating a meal when you have a head cold and your taste buds are zapped. This sandwich wasn’t finished either, even after I took a couple bites. We had bought a side of chips to eat with our meal, but we could not imagine putting another salty thing in our mouths so the bag remained untouched. 1 ½ stars.

Finally! A quality deli in the SP/Dena area. It all starts with the meat quality, and SS uses Dietz and Watson products. So far, I’ve ordered the Reuben, Italiano, Santa Fe Chicken, and a roast beef sub. Everyone was a large filling and well prepared sandwich. I have no complaints. In addition, the deli serves breakfast all day. You can’t beat that.

Super friendly staff, fast service, tasty sandwiches. Only reason I’m giving this 4 stars and not 5 is that the bathroom wasn’t super clean and the soap was out. But definitely worth a second trip!

Awesome sandwich shop. Definitely a mom and pop. 5 tables and huge sandwiches. We got the hero and split it. It was still massive enough to take down two dude’s post work out. Check this place out. It’s connected to the gas station.
