South Garden

LOVE THIS PLACE! It’s family owned and so freaking delicious. Everything on the menu is high quality and worth ordering. My personal favorite is the chicken fried chicken! I know the look of the building can turn you off to going since it looks kind of run down but that’s totally not the case when you go inside. Very clean and well kept inside with great waiters and staff. If you are ever in the area and see South Garden please go try it out!

I’ve lived not even half a mile from this place and have never been there until today. I’ve always thought it was sketchy because the windows are dark and you really can’t see in but today I finally decided to check it out. It’s really welcoming inside. When You walk in you just find a seat and wait for a waitress to take your order. I got the house special burger (no onions) and it was amazing. The beef is super juicy and the bread is so soft. Our waitress forgot to place our order or something so we waited for a while until this other lady came out and got everything back in order. I think she was the owner or something but she was super sweet and helpful. Once she got everything back in order it was really nice. The food is affordable and the very good. I’ll totally go again.

Get a burger!!! It’s a seat yourself, pay up front kind of place. I had the Mushroom Swiss burger with grilled onions. –Totally getting that again. It was messy but so worth it. This place needs a little sprucing up but it has excellent home-​style burgers. Just the burger joint I was looking for!
