Loved Jean! The place was nice and like home! Jean always made us laugh and was very entertaining! My face felt amazing and rejuvenated after the facial! Will defiantly come back.

Jean is exceptional, and very kind as well.

The atmosphere was just ok but the massage and facial were great. And jean is super nice! She makes you want to come back. I got the groupon and it was such a great deal. A perfect treat for yourself.

Jean was amazing! And hilarious. We literally had the best time there and will definitely be coming back. So happy I found this place

Went to jean today to get a green tea hydrating facial with extractions, once again very satisfied! My skin looks rejuvenated, soft, and hydrated. All of these bad reviews I read are so silly. I’ve been going to Jean for years she truly cares about her clients and uses great products and doesn’t take your money. She’s very clean as well. Her place is small & far from fancy, but her services is what it’s all about.

Be very careful about buying a groupon for this place. I bought a groupon for a service here and they denied it saying that it’s been used! even when it clearly has not! THEY’RE SCAMMERS! Be very very careful!

MEH! I received a coupon for a facial from my friend for xmas. We were so excited to the girls day out. We didn’t get the full facial we wanted. She starts giving us random massages as well, then she kept leaving the room, texting and answering phone calls.
It’s bleh and not planning to go back…

Be careful with this shady and fraudulent «spa». I bought 3 Groupon here and she told me all 3 were used but they were NOT used and redeemed!
I bought another one for my friend and my self and it was the most DIRTY and disgusting place ever. Literally she used towels on us that had been used from the previous client! The sheets had hair and make up on them. Disgusting. Health Hazard! She needs to be reported to the BBB and health department.
My face broke out like crazy after this place.
Just don’t go there if you care about your skin.

Well I read all the reviews so I was a bit skeptical going to have my facial/​massage. There were a few things I was not thrilled about but overall it was an AMAZING DEAL!
Pros:
1-​The price can not be beat. I’ve paid triple the price and not been as satisfied elsewhere. You will not find a better value for your money anywhere.
2– The facility was really cozy and inviting. Cute décor.
3– The massage was perfect. Definitely a Swedish and NOT a therapeutic massage but that’s what it was sold as and that is what I wanted!
4– Jean was very nice and very welcoming. Easy going.
5– Saving the best for last… the facial was excellent! Although it was sold as a regular facial it felt more like an aromatherapy facial. The products were top shelf and my sensitive skin LOVED IT! My face looked like a movie star the next day. OMG gorgeous like never before.
6– Convenient. Its located just a few blocks from the Pasadena Target.
7– Jean never pressured me into buying any of her products like they do in most salons. Even the Chuan spa (at the former Ritz Carlton) gave me a guilt trip for not buying their products after spending $ 320.00 for the same services I received here for $ 69.00.
Cons:
1– Parking lot was full and I had to park on the street.
2– Although the shop is terrific the area of this little strip mall is «sketchy». I felt like I needed to triple check to lock my doors
I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to pamper themselves on a budget. You can’t expect a full hot tub, steam room, shower facility but the actual service is exactly the same as the high end spas. Don’t hesitate to give it a try.

I have a really bad tension knot in my shoulder, and I found a groupon for this place. I am familiar with the area so I thought it was a good deal and convenient. Jean was able to get me in the same day and she was very friendly, however…
–Jean answered the phone 10 minutes into my massage!
–Jean talked to me during most of my massage, everything from telling me I needed a facial about 6 times to asking me what was my favorite restaurant.
–I asked her to focus on a specific area and I felt like she avoided it, and she kept telling me the other side needed work…
–I left feeling about the same as when I went in, no real relief.
I guess for a groupon price it was okay… I would never come back even though she offered me the same deal even if I didn’t have a groupon next time.

I used a groupon here for a massage.
Pros:
–Jean is very friendly.
–easy scheduling.
–I felt very relaxed afterwards.
Cons:
–She answered the phone DURING MY MASSAGE. To make an appointment with another customer. If you don’t have someone to answer your phones while you’re performing services, buy an answering machine!!!
–Groupon was for an hour massage, but she only did 50 minutes. She allowed 5 minutes on each end for dressing/​undressing. That is not normal spa protocol.
–The quality of the massage was only okay. It wasn’t harmful in any way, but pretty much every other massage I’ve ever had has been better. It definitely didn’t merit the retail cost of $ 60/​hour.
–She chatted with me during my massage, about all sorts of random things. I guess I didn’t mind this but I know a lot of people would.
–There is pretty much zero atmosphere here. I don’t mind it being in a strip mall (The Great Massage in Rosemead is also in a strip mall and I love that place), but the inside is just plain old dingy.
Conclusion:
–I guess it was worth the groupon price just to relax a little, but I definitely wouldn’t come back. There are plenty of other places. (Like I mentioned, I like The Great Massage in Rosemead.)

Got my deal from groupon, facial and massage for 60 mins each. I don’t need to say any «flowery» words but, I want to say «GO THERE, Jean, the aesthetician is very good. I would definitely recommend this place.

This spa is quaint, but it does not lack expertise and quality. I have tried many places for facials, from the Four Seasons (which I recommend only if it’s a one time deal to get «pampered»), Aveda, Bliss Spa, authentic korean facials (let’s face it, korean girls have AMAZING SKINS), but Jean is hands down the best at her job. Extracting hurts, not something to look forward to, but too bad this smoggy city congests my pores. However, look forward to the most AMAZING head and shoulder massage with a face mask on immediately after the extraction. Don’t take my word for it, give it a shot, and please don’t judge a book by it’s cover.

Got a Groupon deal for a massage and nothing memorable. Requested to be massage stronger around my neck and shoulder and she didn’t bother. I have intense knots around my shoulder and left feeling almost the same as when I got there. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

Great place. Saw a deal of groupon and decided to give it a try. I went in and jean was super friendly and the Swedish massage she gave me amazing. I told her my problem areas and she did great by getting rid of them. I will definitely be coming back again. I already scheduled my next appointment.

Julie did my manicure and I love it. Very relaxing because it’s inside this spa place. I will definitely come back and best of all, they do all the works. This place has a lady that does facials, massage and waxing. I finally found a place where I can relax while getting pampered.

Jean has been doing my facials for over 5 years when she was at a different spa. I followed her to this new spa and will be coming back again regularly. As always, her facials are customized to your needs and very gentle. I especially enjoy the scalp, neck and arm/​hand massage; I doze off every time! Great spa mani/​pedi also available by Julie. All services are done in private, quiet room, even the mani/​pedi. Don’t let the strip mall exterior deter you. Inside is very clean and serene.

I spoke to this women name Jean is ridiculous how this place never answes their phone and when left voicemail to it be return last minute before we left and stated there is no opening had to revise the plan. Would not recommend this place what so ever.

I came here last week for a massage and I absolutely loved! The spa is super cute and cozy. I plan on coming back the next time I’m in town. I definitely recommend this spa to y’all!

I came to this place because of my friend introduced me. When I walked in, I immediately feel the warming and relaxing atmosphere. I was brought to a private room. The bed was very comfortable.
Jean was the one who helped me with my facial. She is very professional. Unlike the facial places that I went before, she didn’t use needles when she was cleaning my pores and blackhead. It was actually less painful and I guess it was better for my skin. She focused on a lot of facial massaging. That felt great and I like.
I will definitely recommend this to my other friends. :)
P.S This facial place is in the corner of the plaza so you might not notice it easily from the street.
