Friendly and helpful over the phone order, convenient location next to Liquor store so grab some drinks if you have a pick up :) just finished a nice meal with my lady and have plenty left over. I rate this place Yummy

By far the best fried rice and vermicelli I’ve had. I love stir fry vermicelli that’s extra dry. Hands down on the Indonesian fried rice and chicken stir fry vermicelli. Next time I want to try the fried chicken and spam musubi. Also, the cashier lady is extremely friendly and she speaks Mandarin so she understood the vermicelli I was looking for. Awesome food with awesome price.

Been here once. Ordered the special/Indonesian fried rice and the crispy fried chicken, gotta be honest, wasn’t very impressed. Fried rice flavor was a bit too sweet for me, and not enough balance between sweet and salty flavor. Not sure if they just didn’t do a good job, or that’s just how Indonesian style fried rice is suppose to taste like? It’s definitely a dish I would not order here again. Fried chicken was ok… thought it was too dry, not enough seasoning, and also had this artificial flavor to it that I just didn’t like…

My wife and I love the Indonesian fried rice and the crispy chicken from here. The fried rice has a hint of sweetness in it and the chicken is not dry at all. The lady at the counter is very friendly! Thanks!

I was craving Ono-Hawaiian before class but there wasn’t a closer location and this had good reviews so I came here. The name of this place does not fit this place. It is not a restaurant, more like a hole-in-the-wall place for a quick meal. I ordered the mini teriyaki chicken and the portions were generous. I also ordered two spam musubis. My rice to meat ratio has to be 2:3. There was a lot of leftover meat but I guess that is what a mini meal is and I should have gotten the regular for larger portion of rice. My meal tasted average and it did not fill me up. I actually prefer Ono-Hawaiian.

I have been here many times. Their crispy chicken is the best I’ve had, since I left the Philippines. Great addictive flavor. Other menu items are good as well. Try the Spam rice… a great side. Love the many choices. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. They even delivered, when I was sick.

I think this place needs to rehab the menu. There is nothing really authentic about the food. The combo stir fry is something I’ve never seen before. And I’m Singaporean with indonesian grand parents. I’d rather go to panda express for the sudo american chinese stuff.

Okay let’s just start with this … They are super friendly the lady who is in the register is so sweet. The price is great I got a «mini» nothing mini about it… chicken katsu it was delicious and filling. Honestly I usually go to other Hawaiian places and the food is never this fresh and delicious the macaroni salad is my favorite Yummm definitely coming back soon

This place is the bomb!!! It has great Hawaiian good but the Indonesian food is phenomenal!!! Try any thing on the menu and never be disappointed. One of my favorites is the musubi, they have the spam musubi but they also have katsu, fish, and bbq chicken musubi what a taste treat. We eat there but it is small and cosy and everyone is very friendly. Trust me try it you’ll love it!

Craving some homey Indonesian food? Well, come right into this small but cozy diner called Top’s. I ordered the crispy fried chicken and the beef rendang(beef curry). The latter reminded me of my mom’s rendition – so deliciously good I’m currently planning my next visit to this little gem of a restaurant. The fried chicken lived up to its reputation – crispy without being overly breaded and juicy(though you only get thighs and drumsticks so no white meat). I’m definitely keeping Top’s in my Indonesian food rotation!

Wow! what a meal! I wasnt anticipating this restaurant to be so good. We ordered Loco Moco, Oseng Spicy Combo Fried Rice, Spam musubi and chicken katsu musubi. The loco moco came with a homemade patty, a fried egg, gravy, rice and macaroni salad. It was by far the best loco moco I have ever had. The huge portions could feed two people easily. I could eat it every day. The oseng spicy combo fried rice was also excellent. The two musubi were very good, but i’m not a huge fan of musubi in general. The restaurant is a hole in the wall, but that makes it even better. The lady who took our order was very pleasant and answered our questions about the menu. On the next visit, I’m looking forward to the Oseng-Oseng or the Bakmie Bangka. I cant wait to come back.

1st timer and tried«Bakso Abang». So good! It reminds me of bakso abang in Indo, especially when you add their special hot sauce for bakso abang On top of that, I love the service. The waiter is very nice and I don’t have to wait for so long to get my food. Good service and good food

It a small, whole in the wall spot, family owned, with great service, great food, and great family atmosphere. — Their crispy chicken, awesome!!! It may be Indonesian, but as a Filipino, it tasted like fried chicken skin, all Filipinos know what I am talking about. — Chicken Katsu, awesome. — BBQ chicken — great. — Gyozas — delicious — Great price and awesome combo plates. Very fast service, good simple drinks, unlimited ice… ICE!!! I love ice!!! Dragon Egg Approved!

Finally found some indonesian food in Pasadena! PARKING: Shared lot in plaza. FOOD: –Indonesian fried rice: Spot on. Great flavors, but next time I’m getting extra spicy because spicy just did not cut it! Portion size was large enough to feed me for 3 meals. :) –Chicken katsu musubi: I’ve never seen anything like it, but now I CRAVE it. Chicken was nicely fried and was still crispy even after the 10 minute car ride home. I wish there were some sauce to balance out the oil of the chicken. SERVICE: Friendly and prompt. Food arrived relatively quickly. Note there’s no public restroom, so this place is more of a take out. On my list of go-tos!

It’s a small spot, but it’s probably my #1 to go to spot whenever I’m craving Indonesian food. I used to be iffy about it due to its random hours, but they’re more consistent now after changing up their menu and adding in Hawaiian options too. If you go here, try the Nasi Goreng Mawut and Empek Empek! It’s so good that you’ll probably be coming back the next day to get some more. Plus, the people that work here are super nice so I’d definitely keep coming whenever I want Indo food!

I’ve never dined at the facility, only takeout, so this review is limited in scope. The food– The BBQ Chicken is juicy, tender and flavorful. The BBQ beef is tender and flavorful. The mac salad is just the way I like it, creamy, and without superfluous vegetables. The food comes out quickly and the owners of the restaurant are super nice. This is my go-to for Hawaiian food!

I’ve only had their Indonesian fried rice and all i can say is simply delicious. The lady at the register is very friendly and is always smiling, the places looks clean and they have great prices. I recomend this place mainly for take out, you won’t regret it.

Five stars for the super creative name! No, I’m joking. It’s about the worst name anybody could name a restaurant. It shows an utter lack of creativity and giving-a-damn. The interior is about the same. It’s almost like they WANT you to just take the food and leave. Don’t linger, don’t eat at the tables. Just take it and go. That’s not to say that they’re rude — they’re actually quite friendly. Just that this is definitely a take-out type of joint. That said, the food is pretty delicious. I always get Hawaiian plates, which are about on-par with L&L(okay, maybe a little better). Wish the portions were a tiny bit larger. Worth it to try, but not worth going out of your way for.

==New Ownership but still within the family== This spot has cleaned up a bit so now we have a totally different vibe. Grandma has retired and there’s now an emphasis on Hawaiian BBQ. No worries though, there’s still a limited Indonesian food menu that they offer. Also, credit cards are now accepted. -=-Top’s Special Crispy Fried Chicken-=- Still took about 20 minutes, but our other food came out first. Chicken came out crispy as always. Still that smooth clean crunch. Meat was a little dry this time around though, but nothing that a little time and visits from grandma can’t fix. Rice is now an extra dollar. There are 2 other sauces served with it: a spicy orange one and a dark vinegar-y one. Wasn’t a fan of either, but there is still that sweet soy sauce bottle that’s good with every bite. -=-Nasi Goreng Mawut-=- Tried this other dish off the Indonesian menu which is a rice and noodle dish with egg on top. Good for what it was, but not as flavorful as it could have been. Should have just stuck with the white rice for a dollar. I would have enjoyed the meal just the same.
