I recently held a shoot at WGW Studios, using both the green screen stage and the office facilities as sets as well, and had a really great experience with the facilities and employees. They’re super easy going, and they’re rates are extremely competitive. It’s really the only stage of its kind in Pasadena, which is great when you want to avoid the stress, hassle, and prices of working in LA proper. The only downside of the stage is the limited on-​house equipment build-​in to the rental, and the comparatively smaller size of the stage, but again, it’s perfect and really meant for smaller, more indie-​friendly shoots, which is they kind of stuff I generally do. They also have a good amount of parking and the ability to have G&E rentals delivered right to the stage. Highly recommended.

I went to WGW Studios to attend a seminar on gripping. While I was there I was amazed with how complete their studio was. There was a beautiful green screen, it was a really clean facility, and there was plenty of parking for my crew. Michael and Dan were really knowledgeable and they found answers to my questions quickly and they were so nice about it. I can’t wait to shoot there.
