I bought one the chocolate brownies from a coffee shop in Pasadena. I was a bit underwhelmed by the brownie. The brownie was more like a dry chocolate cake rather than chocolate brownie. I didn’t mind that it was vegan or gluten-​free, though I can really taste the rice flour they used. Maybe the brownie was not meant have a long shelf life? Thus I dont understand why it would be sold in a retail location were the likeliness of a product being bought is inconsistent. I guess for a person who is really gluten intolerant this brownie will have to do.

Tried to order by calling the number provided. Called several times, left two messages. Had an important family reunion and large gf order. I guess you can only order online? No call back. I wondered if they were out of business. Can’t they check their voicemail? Not sure what is going on. No customer service.

The vanilla cupcake is super moist and there is plenty of icing to last throughout every bite! It’s yummy but quite filling and is even better when eaten with a hot cup of fresh brewed coffee. I’m not a gluten-​free fan but it’s good when it’s done well. Next time I will try another flavor for sure.

An outstanding product put out by outstanding people. Having a gluten-​sensitive family member means I’m always grateful for anyone producing safe food for the folks who need it. But Whisk goes so far beyond that.
The food, as been noted in other reviews already, is excellent. But beyond that, my interactions with all of the personnel from the owners to the delivery folks (hello, Stephanie!) have all been wonderful. They have come through for me multiple times on short notice for special occasions. They have never disappointed.
I am very, very pleased to be able to recommend them to anyone looking for a treat, whether you’re after something gluten-​free, vegan, or just something tasty!

Beyond amazing Gluten Free desserts. Tried the chocolate cupcake with peanut butter frosting and the coffee and espresso cupcake — both moist, decadent, and delicious. Also got to taste their cookie sandwich, which I hear is even better frozen!
Cannot wait for my next treat!

I ordered 4 dozen mini choc/​choc cupcakes for my son’s 5th birthday party at school. They were AMAZING!!! You seriously could not tell that they were gluten-​free. The cupcakes LOOKED great too — super cute with sprinkles and the little Disney «Planes» rings that Stephanie was so accommodating to order for me. They were a big hit. Thank you so much, Whisk! We will be definitely be ordering from you again!

I recently ordered a red velvet birthday cake from Whisk and it was decadently delicious.
It’s one of the best cakes I’ve ever eaten and by far the best GF cake I’ve ever tried.
I’m looking forward to my birthday to order another cake! BTW I think the 6″ will serve more than 6 people easily.

I can’t believe it hasn’t taken me so long to write a review. I had just found out that I was a celiac and would be my first birthday that I needed a gluten free cake. Found this place online and decided to give it a try. So glad I did! My cake was amazing and delicious! They even made my cake into my favorite character Jack Skellington!!! My bf loved it and to my family who was iffy on gluten free… they’ve become fans! Delicious! I also bought their gluten free dinner rolls and pumpkin pie for thanksgiving. My family devoured it!

My boyfriend has Celiac’s disease, so I am always looking for yummy gluten free treats for him. I ordered two dozen mini cupcakes for his birthday, half PB Chocolate, half Giddy’up (Mocha). He LOVED them, as did his friends. They were do good, that no one believed they were gluten free.
Whisk was very accommodating. I found them last minute (just under two days before his birthday), and they were able to get my order done on time, and wait for us to pick it up.
I will definitely be ordering from Whisk again for Valentines and all future birthdays and holidays.

I trusted the 5 star reviews here on Unilocal and Whisk Bakery did NOT disappoint. I just hosted my best friend’s birthday … a Clue Movie themed dinner party. For her cake, I was looking for gluten free … and anyone who is gluten free knows how hard it is to find truly delectable gluten free cake that satisfies even the toughest customer. I also had a special request … that they be decorated with little fondant butcher knives with red icing for blood splatters (murder mystery theme … kind of dark, but the movie is a comedy!). Whisk delivered them to my door, and they were spectacular! Moist, delicious and the decorations were exactly what I’d asked for! People could not stop raving over them all night and the birthday girl said «they were the icing on the cake of a perfect party!» I will absolutely be a loyal Whisk customer going forward.

Whisk does it again! My husband ordered a cake for a friend for her bday — it was the Chocolate Love cake and my gawwwwwd, was it delicious! Since going GF over a year and a half ago, I haven’t had regular cake (cupcakes are different) and I can honestly say that this chocolate cake was one of the best cakes I’ve ever had! Thank you Whisk for doing such a fabulous job on your creations!

Ive been looking for cake for my wedding since having to go gluten and dairy free. I have been underwhelmed by every cake but I called and gave Whisk a try. I picked up 6 cupcakes Monday morning and they are all gone. The giddy up, they say its your birthday, and red velvet are amazing! You would never know they were gluten free and vegan. My fiancé even loved them!
Thankfully we ate them all in a few day, if we had any more I would never stop eating them!

Bought a Whisk gluten free birthday cake in January for a girlfriend, who has celiac disease. They were able to accommodate last minute and all that I asked was to have the cake sea foam green.
They made the triple coconut cake sea foam green and my girlfriend said that it was the most delicious cake ever. Gluten free or not, it was a delicious cake. Whisk is super accommodating and they deliver! Just recently, the same girlfriend let me know that she tried contacting Whisk but they required a minimum order.
Seriously, I dunno why I haven’t heard more about Whisk…
