One of the smaller locations I’ve visited, but as all WS stores, it’s a very nice, upscale shop with quality products and very nice staff to assist in your needs. Smelled great, but there were no samples of what ever we were smelling. I love their little kitchen knick knacks. I almost always find something neat for the kitchen, whether a little knife, a pizza cutter or a juicer.

Do you need Kitchen motors and gadgets? If you want a more personal, homey environments definitely come here. I LOVEWILLIAMS-SONOMA! It’s smaller than Sur La Table(the other large competitor) and W-S feels like there are always helpful cookery elves who are very knowledgeable and willing to get you through your questions here. Williams Sonoma got me into some good pots about a coupla years ago… the French stuff, Ouioui, Le Creuset – works really well for low and slow. They now have cheaper options here at the store. This time, I got some All Clad with stainless steel inside for high temp cooking. After a good survey of the market with my fave W-S person I opted for this brand and style. The Williams Sonoma brand is also now in stainless. Beaucoup choices here. Almost everyone knows what the deal is with every spoon, mutant Nespresso kitchen motor, butcher block, wine glass, fork, confectionery, pizza stone, wok, tablecloth, molcajete that fits your kitchen/cooking purposes. You get what you pay for. Prices here are on the higher end but; honestly, the gadgets you buy here are super useful, sturdy like a Volvo and tried and true brands. What I love the most is their customer service though. If you look lost, someone comes over. Then if you decide to get something here, the warranties are superior. They also gift wrap in front of you. Very cool. Finally if they don’t have the merchandise, they will order it and deliver it if you want. If they don’t have the merchandise at all they will send you to their competitor. Who does that? Ain’t no place like W-S. Ain’t no place like W-S. Ain’t no place like W-S Visits: beaucoup, many many. Tip: Open after work hours until around 8PM, so check the website. Next to Lemonade and Sugarfish by Nozawa. Parking is by the hour in front on Lake, some places 2 hours across the street: coins and plastic.

This review is specific to our recent store visit early afternoon on Saturday, January 2nd To Williams Sonoma Pasadena(Lake) My wife was looking for«Robby’s pancakes» and was directed to the shelf. Immediately she noticed that the expiration date showed 2014. She looked for other boxes and found that they were all expired. She walked to the clerk and informed her. The clerk said okay and basically dismissed my wife. My wife continued to walk around the store for good 30 minutes and realized that no one did anything with the expired products on the shelf. My wife was shocked as she left the store. 1) How can they keep such LONG expired items on the shelf. How can that be overlooked 2) Why didn’t the clerk remove the items immediately? 3) How come we were not thanked or anything to bring this to their attention? My question is what other things slip through the cracks? The other times we visited the store there were staff at nearly every other corner asking and willing to help and terrific What Happened?

I have shopped at this South Lake Avenue store location for many, many years, but no longer. First off, the staff appears far too busy and far too important to stoop to waiting on customers. Very unfriendly and apparently quite unhappy as well. I received a gift item that had a defect. It is a white Melamine three — bowl set and the larger bowl had a crack. After looking it up on the WS website, apparently this defect is quite common with this same item. Now, here is the issue: It was a recent gift; it had a defect; it clearly has molded into the bottom of each bowl, «Williams Sonoma» so it is clear that it comes from no other store; it costs only $ 29.95; and’ I did not make the purchase. The«assistant» Manager’s response, «no receipt, no exchange.» Ironically, a Sunny S. wrote a review before my review and they

I have shopped at this location for years. The service has seriously gone downhill. Several people working but you have to track them down for help. No attempt whatsoever to give good customer service. Taking my business to Sur la table. Way more attentive, friendly and actually act like they want your business.

Wow, after seeing so many negative reviews on Unilocal,I was very hesitant coming here yesterday to do my Christmas shopping. I wasn’t sure what to expect and was planning to stick to online shopping instead. I arrived late in the afternoon and the store was very busy. Nonetheless, I was greeted by several employees after I arrived. I was told about the sales and what was on special. Any questions I had were answered in a courteous manner by the staff. I enjoyed my first time shopping experience at this store. I never felt rushed or pressured into buying anything other than what I was looking for. I found the staff on duty yesterday to be helpful and professional. I will recommend this store to friends and family and look forward to returning again soon.

If I could give zero stars, I would. A visit to the Pasadena store this evening easily eclipsed any prior lousy shopping experience I’ve had. First, a little background: after finding a cute tree-shaped candy-filled advent calendar on-line, I called the store to check on its availability. I was put on hold, then assured that plenty of them were available as they«had just come in.» Tree-shaped with little boxes? Check. Filled with chocolate? Check. $ 49.95? Check. After confirming the store hours, I headed for the store. When I arrived in the store within a half hour of my call I immediately saw at least six employees milling about. None of them greeted me. They were busy doing more important things like straightening out strings of lights, putting boxes in cellophane bags, and pushing carts of merchandise about the store for stocking. The level of inexplicable pretension was palpable. Perhaps it was because I, akin to a previous reviewer, was in my Sunday best — jeans, sweatshirt and no makeup. I recited the details of my earlier call and asked for help. After a ridiculously long delay, I asked the only employee who eventually talked to me to intervene. Someone finally emerged from the stock room to click on the computer and tell me the item in fact was not in the store — despite what one of their employees had told me less than a half hour earlier. Astonishingly, two different employees suggested that I could order the item — ANADVENTCALENDAR, FORPETE’S SAKE — on December 20, when they were expected to become available. Whether these are minimum wage seasonal employees, regular employees, or managers, they uniformly showed scant concern over the fact that I had been given incorrect information, or for the inconvenience they had caused me. I will not be back. I found a comparable item for a lower price at another vendor where the customer service was excellent.

My first time visiting this location. When i first walked in two employees saw me and walked right pass me like i didnt exist. It was a pretty women moment, i didnt get the proper greet or customer service because i didnt fit their usual«clientele». But i am giving them 2 stars only because i did get incredible customer service from their seasonal hire named«Christina». I would give no stars if it werent for her. She took the time to educated me about what the store, offered and gave me samples of food they had made. Wonderful experience with her. She made all the difference and i will be back to purchase from her not any of the others.

Nice WS store on S Lake Ave… I wandered in here as I was early for a Friday night dinner across the way at Celestino. WS is one of my favorite places to buy houseware/cookware gifts from so I was bummed that the one close to where I live closed up shop. This one in Pasadena is now the closest one to me. The staff here was very friendly and I was greeted almost immediately as I walked in. This WS is located in the shopping area known as The Commons and has an entrance on Lake as well as from the courtyard of the shopping center. The store is split into wide rooms. They first room has appliances and sauces/baking ingredients/spices/kitchen tools. The 2nd room has the dinnerware/clearance section/cook books as well as the stove/oven for cooking demonstrations. When I walked in, they were just finishing up a class and the aroma of what they cooked was really hunger inducing. Whatever it was that they cooked must have been delicious. Great store. Great gift ideas. Check them out when you’re in Pasadena.

This will be the only Williams-Sonoma Store in the San Gabriel Valley, with the soon to be closing of the Arcadia store and Glendale Store closing a few years ago. I find their products unique and mindful of the home chef, with pre-made sauces, quality tools, and professional quality utensils and cookware. I BBQ the most, and have most of their products for the job. twice a year, there are sales to clear inventory, and I find the best deals in August and January. This store is kind of small, and parking on the street costs a few dollars, if you stay awhile. They do validate for parking in the structure, so save some time and parking tickets.
