By now I’ve been a loyal customer of Woody’s Home for 3 years and this update is long due. I’ve added more updates bits by bits but nothing too major. I know for a fact that they are always engaged in bigger projects but I’ve been treated with concierge like service and had not felt like my upgrades are too small… Their service and install team is awesome and personal they deserve 6 stars!

Please please do not go here. The sales engineer Ryan Porter came to our home, talked to us for 2 hours and then never got us the quote. Upon emailing him after two weeks(he said the quote will be ready in one), he said I am sorry but it’s taking longer than I expected. That was May 27th. I cannot believe that these people are so unprofessional. Save yourself a headache. Stay away!!! You have been warned.

I love Woody’s Home, and let me tell you why. My client had a home-automation system previously installed in his house by another company. For the most part, it was fine, but any time there was an issue, it would take the company forever to get back to us and to service the problem. Also, the way they left the cords and cables hanging in the back of the equipment rack was ATROCIOUS. Just a jumbled mess of cords. Needless to say, we needed to find another company. I was referred to Woody’s, and several other companies, by the regional rep for the home-automation system. When I called Woody’s and explained our situation to Jimmy, I finally heard what I’d been hoping to hear… someone who genuinely wanted to help and would troubleshoot the system with us as opposed to ripping everything out and starting over… which would have cost thousands and thousands of dollars!(the other places I called only wanted to do that or else they wouldn’t take us on as a new client) What struck me about Jimmy was how earnest he sounded about wanting to help and how knowledgeable and passionate he is for everything A/V. After having him and his programming specialists Mark and Ryan come out and explain what they’d do, I knew that we’d be able to expect nothing less than amazing service and a proper organization of our system. When it came time to reorganize and tighten up the system, Francisco and Mario were AMAZING!!! They had their work cut out for them… I’m not exaggerating when I tell you how tangled and disorganized the cables and cords were! You couldn’t tell which cable led to which piece of equipment unless you held onto the cord and followed it with your hands, all the while trying to keep the tangled mess of other cords away and not lose the cable you’re following, in the tangled mess. It was just atrocious how the previous company«finished» the installation. A good lesson in getting what you pay for. Francisco and Mario went above and beyond in reorganizing the system. It’s so beautiful now! The RCA cords are all color coded, as are the power cables, the network cables, etc. There’s a beautiful box where the cables are all connected that has proper labels on them… no more exposed hole in the wall with cords spilling out willy nilly! Francisco and Mario were both very professional, respectful and courteous and made sure everything was thoroughly tested before leaving for the day. There was an art to what they did. Woody’s Home is awesome. You can tell these guys only ever want to do an outstanding job and will go above and beyond to make sure all expectations are met. Aside from the amazing job they do with the technical aspects of it all, I truly valued how I was treated as a client and as a woman. There was no hint of anyone trying to patronize me or talk over my head when I didn’t understand something. There was only respect and a genuine desire to help. Thank you Woody’s for your amazing work! My client is extremely happy, so I’m extremely happy!

One of the best showrooms for home theaters that I’ve seen. It is even better than Best Buys’ Magnolia. It would have gotten a 4 or 5 stars from me. However, they asked me to pay $ 2,500.00 non-refundable fee just to get a quote on a simple home theater system!!!

I was planning on going in to see the hype about their electronic set ups but I received a phone call and was taking it outside while it was raining. Some Asian lady looks at me as she walks in as if I was a homeless person off lake and the 210. And asks is there something I can help you with while I was on the phone. Sitting on a beach outside the store. She obviously felt that she owns the bench and the area outside ofnthe store. Goes to show that they don’t appreciate business and there is a hint of racism or prejudice alive in Woody Barn. I’m glad I didn’t go in and avoid staff like that. Btw, her English was terrible.

Dear Woody’s, The muzak that you blare out on the sidewalk not just during business hours but often long after you’re closed is annoying and not very neighborly and makes me want to purchase my audio system fanciness somewhere else. Please stop the sidewalk muzak. Please? The walk down Lake will be so much more pleasant without it.

So… came across this place while waiting for my wife as she was shopping. Walked in to check it out. I have been having one bad experience after another trying to fix my home audio system. Just curious what they could do. The staff was very receptive, laid back and helpful. Curious to carry on a conversation and listen to me gripe about my audio system. They actually listened… By the time my wife found me and they started explaining things to her, I was sold. They came out to my place, no obligations and no pressure. From this, I got a practical and very reasonable proposal and estimate. It is refreshing to deal with people who know what they are doing and are not trying to take advantage. A few weeks later, and no calls to push me, I called them back and gave asked them to do part of the work in 1 week! I was not making things easy for them. And they came through. It’s nice to get the cheapest deal for something, but it is priceless to get it stress free, know your not being take for a ride and delivering as promised. Excellent!

Long story short, we bought the new Sony 4K tv and some Focal speakers from Woody’s. They gave us a mind blowing experience. Their in house designer even gave us a detail drawing of how our room will look like with our new setup. Highlight, You must check out their outdoor courtyard if you are there.

If you want the best audio experience at home, please go to Woody Home. I was intrigued by the Savant systems they shown. You can control your home/office from your Iphone/Ipad Mini. It is unreal… It is truly a one stop place for all your audio/home automation need. Jimmy stocked a lot of rare and great brand, such as INTEGRA Amp, FOCAL Bird systems… even mosaic walls from Italy. Jimmy and his crew are very helpful when giving me advise on how to automate my home and yet still managed to meet my budget. Well, Audio enthusiasts, go to visit Woody Home and you will know what I am talking about.

Since we have an older home, space is always an issue. I am always looking for ways to make my house more functional, with multi-purpose rooms. So glad that we got the Sony projector, invisible speakers, and motorized screen from Woody’s Home. Now our den is also a mini theater! Best part is that the quality is amazing, and everything is «hidden» so the den still looks spacious without huge pieces of equipment. Woody’s Home also offers installation services and the staff was very careful with our existing furniture and did a great job.

I used to shop at Smith & Hawken before it closed down. Their space on south lake has since then been empty for a long time. I’m always curious what’s going inside. Now it’s opened, it’s completely different! This place looks beautiful and I can tell that they’ve put in a lot of thoughts! I was given a tour for some home automation, it was really nice. But I’m most interested in their outdoor patio that was left from old S&H, they renovated it with some water feature to display their outdoor TV and speakers. I’m considering to do that in my backyard so that I can have great BBQ parties! They mentioned that the speakers are directional so I won’t disturb my neighbors at all. Sounds even better!

Very happy that we stopped at this place for our home renovation needs. Jimmy and Candy are fantastic and knowledgable helpers. They have every interior and exterior automations you need from window blinds, high def. TV& stereos, home theatre and much more to make your home life easy and stylish. Must not be missed!!!
