Went there for a Bachelorette party Friday night. The night started slow, came in just after 10. The music was loud, dance floor empty, no line at the bar. It was fine. It picked up fast though. It got a lot more fun as the dance floor filled up. I was impressed by how the bartenders kept up with drink orders. It was a long line, but you didn’t wait long. And I don’t remember the rest of the night, so it must have been good. Only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star was because of the dude outside with a machete. Pro tip: their $ 4 long islands, yes. All night yes. And a little more expensive, but will fuck you up without tasting like alcohol: skittles.

Ever wonder how to get noticed in a gay club? Wear fake bleach blonde mustaches and try to get the dance party started. This was the only club that was open for 18+ on a Friday night and we didn’t know what type of club it was because we’re not from around here. Overall the experience was pretty positive. In the 18 – 20 area, people pretty much hover around the dance floor like something out of a bad high school dance until around 12:30. My brother and I weren’t having that. We went in Rambo style and started pulling people to the floor to dance. Not even necessarily with us. By 11:30, that place was hoppin! I went into the 21+ area, met the awesome bartenders, got hit on by dudes and then got hit on by ladies. With confidence through the roof, a couple of cheap Long Island Ice Teas in me I was ready to establish dominance on the dance floor. Overall it was awesome. At one point I struck the Captain Morgan pose with my brother as ladies danced all around us. We looked glorious. I think somewhere a bald eagle cried as cannons were fired into the sky at our achievement. Tips: the 18 – 20 area sells bottled water but you need cash You can’t bring drinks from the 21+ side to the 18 – 20 side even if it’s water/non-alcoholic Security may stop you from doing something dumb but they’re cool The bartenders are awesome and Chris is the man!

This is my 3rd time visiting this bar. I respect drag queens and what they do. But the show Divas Latinas was the longest show ever. Talk about a drag. We paid to have fun, drink and dance but a 3 and half hour show was way too much. We went from wanting to have fun to wanting to go to bed. I must say this is probably my last time visiting the bar. Unless the drag show gets cut down to a limited time. Perhaps an hour show but 3 and a half hours? No way. I can’t put myself through that again. And hopefully better performers.

Getting there early enough to see the drag show is a great time. Decent sized venue for dancing, but also had enough extra rooms that were conducive to chatting and relaxing. DJ was great about taking requests. They give out free water at the end of the night. I am confused about what time it actually closes though because we were dancing until 2:30 when we left and nobody was trying to make us leave. It was a fun time and I was able to dance like nobody was watching.

Good bar, I just wish the gay cliants did not have to wait behind straight folks in our own club.

Do not go to this place on Friday nights — it’s 18 and over night(unless that’s your scene — it wasn’t mine) I believe this is the only gay bar in the tri-cities — and it’s somewhat trashy. The drinks are ok, but I just really don’t want to spend any time here. I’d recommend finding another grown-up bar to hang out at with your friends.

Okay, maybe it was the absinthe and sprite. Might have been the fact that I was only hit on once all night. But I love this place. Pretty boys in drag, good prices and nice people. I wouldn’t compare it to a club in a real city, but if your stuck here in the tri, you could do a lot worse. Mostly i need to correct my last review and mention I think used the boys bathroom last time. my bad. the woman’s is smaller. and locks. And there is pool for 50 cents. Unfortunately, there were some couples(m and f) that were gang dancing. that’s when they look like they are having hetro uninteresting sex on the dance floor and you have to look away because its gross. And that’s sad, because usually I like watching couples in love or in heat. No! not because I’m dirty! Because its romantic! but these were not, and neither was any of the music! I went up to the front and said«hey, could you guys CONSIDER hiring a gay DJ? and he was like, «ALL the DJ’s are gay but this one» So I will go back and hope I getg a good Dj who plays 70’s or at least 80’s music.

I went to this club with a friend and was pleased to note that it was diverse — not only people of all races, but also a good mix of both lesbian and gay crowds. It was, however, a pageant night for something like Miss TriCities, so maybe that changed the crowd? Not so cool: the skeezy old white dudes edging around making eyes at all the hot latino guys. Yuckers. The atmosphere was not so friendly as other gay clubs I’ve frequented; I’m one of those annoying straight chicks who goes to gay clubs to dance to good music and not get hit on by sketchy guys. But usually as a straight chick in a gay club — when not traveling in packs with other straight women — I’ve found really friendly, chill vibes from the other people there. This time, it seemed like the people who were there weren’t so friendly. Maybe bc I don’t speak spanish but I look like I should?(I’m Native American) Maybe bc I was there not with my gay boyfriends, but with a straight dude who I started making out with in a booth?(the people standing a few yards away were being all catty about it … ok dudes, party foul, I get it, but wtf this is a BAR not a library!) Anyways, who knows. BUT, the important basics are: strong drinks, good music, good layout, diverse gay scene, and in the middle of fuckin’ PASCOE. Thus, I’m definitely a fan.

This club is always interesting. I’d give it a solid 3.5 stars. My friend and I came here because we wanted to dance, but we caught this place on a «pageant night». That was interesting in and of itself. The cover was steep, but it was going toward a fundraiser(the person taking the money had no idea what it was going toward though). It was packed in the main area. There is an area in between the dance area & bar which has a row of booths in a quiet section which is an option if you want to talk without screaming. The bar is set off in a separate room. It is fairly nice and chill. The drinks were strong here.

First off I want to say this review is based on 1 experience that was on a FRI or SAT night. For those that don’t get the name it’s a gay bar, so if you can’t handle drag queens and dudes in super-tight shirts don’t go. I and my Girlfriend went there thinking the music would be better than at Trash or some other places we went earlier that night. Boy, were we wrong, I don’t know if that was the usual DJ but they played spanish dance music all night. I’ve heard they play better music other nights and maybe I’ll find out someday. Now on to the good, I like that there’s like a little hallway with seating between the main dance area and the bar, seems like you could talk there but still be connected with the music. I liked the huge fish tank behind the bar. The bartender that night was super-nice and worked hard to make a drink I requested that he wasn’t sure how to make, even offering to buy it if I didn’t like it. Good service. Even though it seemed we were the only straight couple there everyone was really friendly and cool, no breeder haters like at some other places I’ve been. Will update if I go on a night with better music.

I was very disappointed by this club, I had been running around portland’s bar scene and my expecations were not high I did expect a good experience. however overall the service is not as polished as it should. I felt like i was cattle being taken to the trough when i came to the well… the staff was impersonal and simply did not even really acknowledge I was there minus«what ya want?». I was disappointed in the upkeep of the furnishing there are a row of booth outside the bar/loung space and they had rips, the side room seems to be a complete after thought for the most not even seen as a opportunity to expand the space. Further I have gone a drag queen night and they first start the drag queen shows late and further are using hte main dance floor for drag, As much as I am a fan of drag… being able to start dancing early would be a better option. Finally kids, the first time i ran in [on a tuesday] they didn’t serve me in a glass… i understand if it is packed night but i simple find it lazy to use disposable cup for serving on a slow night.

This is a fun club that plays great music. Full bar with reasonably-priced drinks. Rich did a great job with this place, building it from the ground up.
