Wine Country Furniture

I recently went into wine country furniture a few months ago, I had been looking for a bedroom set for my little girl, the guys who helped me were so nice and understanding of my situation. They showed me exactly what I was looking for, I told them that I had seen the same set somewhere else for a little bit less. The owner gave me even a better deal! And the best part was that the girl from the credit place loaned me the money without a credit check and was super accommodating and worked with me on the down payment and using the payment program is actually helping build my credit. And my stuff was delivered to me the next day! Being a single parent with low income and bad credit, the people at wine country treated me like family and that alone means the world to me. I’ll never shop for furniture anywhere else.

I cannot stress enough, DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!! We went in there with the intent on buying, When we picked out what we wanted, the girl informed us of the credit opportunity there, I told her we do NOT want a deal like the rent to own companies where they charge you so much interest that you end up paying three times what it is worth. Now, keep in mind I asked her this three times and she assured me they were NOT like that. We also were not wanting a mattress and box springs, just the furniture. She told us that this other bed went with the furniture but maybe they could make a deal to take the bed off and add the rest of the set. She talked to the owner and he said no, the mattress set does not come with the set but he still tried to make us a deal. Well when we went in to fill out papers, guess what… IT WAS a HIGH INTEREST deal!!! We had already let them swipe our charge card for a down payment and then told them no, deal is off. Tore up the paper work. We asked the owner to refund the credit card… he said it was done. Well, we got home and checked and it was not done. Called the credit card company and they said no, it wasn’t pending and had never been done. We called the owner and he then said it would have to be done through the main office and that couldn’t be until Monday. Monday rolls around, still nothing. Called the credit card company and THEY called the owner, he told them they would have to call the corporate office. They did that and the person there was unprofessional and rude and said they need to call that store and hung up. Credit card company called the store again and this time they said the card would need to be brought in and swiped. So, I went in Tuesday morning and the owner passed me off to another person to do it, She then informed me that the Manager would have to do it and she wouldn’t be in until THURSDAY!!! By now, the charges were set on the card as owing money for buying NOTHING!!! I got mad and told her that this was ridiculous and that I felt this company was shady. I called my boyfriend at work and he called the owner. He was so rude and started yelling at him on the phone. I mean YELLING, telling him to shut the F!@k up over and over and at one point told him to come back to the store and step outside with him!!! ARE you KIDDING ME!!! Finally after all this vulgarity coming out of the «Owners» mouth my boyfriend hung up. Next thing you know, the secretary at his job gets a call from the owner of Wine Country. Wants her to put my Boyfriend on the phone. She told him that wasn’t possible and he then threatened her and said he would keep calling.
Well, it finally came down to calling the credit card company again. They are refunding the money to our card and they are going after the owner of WINE COUNTRY FURNITURE for the money. Please, do yourself a huge favor… DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!! They do not know what they are doing, they LIE and Cheat their way into your money. Do NOT trust one word they say. They are ALL extremely unprofessional. I HAD to give it a one star rating. Trust me, they do not deserve ANYTHING but BAD.

This store deliveries all its furniture unassembled and then wants to charge a fee to assemble it. No one said a word about this when we were paying for the furniture. The manager was of no help, and the company they contract with to deliver is even worse!!!

My husband, son and I walked in looking at furniture not one person offered to help us at all these people need to work on their customer service!
