I am a fan… however. Meta is a P.I.T.A. she is soooo slow, so yappy and does not listen to the customer. Today a guy said no to her double wrapping some frozen ribs, he said no twice, but she did it anyway. I told her not to waste a bag for a watermelon. it fit in my cart just fine, but again, she insisted on putting it a plastic bag. Then… oh never mind. She needs to put some speed in her service and qit being so anal. Thanks.

I ordered cupcakes on Thursday to pick up on Friday, as we were up at Ft Hunter a Liggett and wanted to celebrate a few birthday’s. I ordered just chocolate with chocolate whip and vanilla with vanilla whip. These cupcakes were high quality for a low price! Everyone enjoyed them!!!

I live in atascadero, I usually shop at Von’s there. I could not believe how much more friendly and helpful the employees are in this albertsons compared to our Von’s. I am going to do all my shopping here from now on. It is well worth the drive!

This place is just awful. I stopped shopping here years ago but I occasionally go here to pick up vegetable items that other close by stores do not stock. They always seem to put dullards on the express check out. Today’s «employee of the month» insisted on engaging every customer in spurious drawn out conversations. She took several minutes to pass out candy to children who we’re waiting in line. She did not know the code for one of my items, she had to flag down three other employees to figure that one out… whatever happened to keeping a price list by the register?! She neglected to confirm the total, she seemed to be preoccupied with wiping down her work area with a rag. In the end I had to ask her to confirm the total. She also had a big Jesus button AND A big cross displayed on the front of her uniform which seemed inappropriate for a grocery store check out. If you plan to shop here, take a book with you to pass the time waiting in line.

Cool store! Lots of good healthy options and of course a robust wine selection, very appropriate for the Paso Robles area! Lots of healthy options and fresh choices. Only request would be more raw options. Raw cheeses, raw nutrition bars, raw dried vegetables, sprouted seeds and grains, etc. Friendly folks and nice location!

Ordered a cake from the bakery a week in advance, watched the woman pick out the toy pack that was supposed to go on it. Called today and confirmed it would be ready, came to pick it up and it’s not the right cake. The same lady had not written it down that it was supposed to be a Minion themed cake. They are fixing the issue and dropped the price by $ 10 for the inconvenience. I appreciate the effort they made to get it right and they were super apologetic. Four stars because I feel like $ 40 regular price for a full sheet is a bit high. I used to pay $ 20 for the same size when Von’s was open.

This Albertsons has a nice selection of local Paso Robles wines for a cheaper price than you would pay at the wineries. It is a good place to pick up cheese and crackers for a snack before you begin tasting wine after browsing their wine section.

Worst store, crowded, rude and unhelpful employees, produce is never fresh and meat is over priced and terrible quality. Checkers take forever and talk and talk and talk. Wish I never had to shop there again.

Don’t rent the rug doctor. They don’t maintain equipment. Mine dripped and leaked during operation. Used up all my cleaning fluid and parts of carpet were soaked. It was the biggest hassle with a carpet cleaner I ever had. Spent hours just trying to dry soaked puddles.

Of special note is the helpfulness of the staff. Someone always seemed to appear just when I needed direction. A special shout-out for Ryan, who stopped what he was doing to lead me to the items I’d not been able to find. Clean, well-lighted, well organized store; excellent assortment of items, nicely displayed.

Closets full grocery store near Justin Inn. Fair prices and has everything you need– the lines at the register are pretty long but nothing too bad.

Ordered cupcakes through the Albertsons website, and picked them up at my local store. Besides having an unpleasant issue with the bakery girl, who obviously isn’t a «people person», the cupcakes tasted like lard. The frosting was dyed in different colors, which stained anything and everything it touched(my hands look like a rainbow!!) I will never buy anything again from there bakery!

First off, this is the best grocery store in Paso Robles, with a great selection, good prices and usually good service. One part of their service that is consistently lacking is their bagging service. Our county banned the use of plastic bags and stores are required to charge for paper bags or customers provide their own. I am fine paying for paper bags. It seems like when the law was passed, the clerks and baggers forgot how to properly pack a paper bag. When I was a kid, grocery stores had contests to see who could pack the best paper bag. The winners would put like items together, put heavier items on the bottom to build a base(cans of soup), they medium weight items(boxed cereal) and then the lightest or fragile items at top(chips or eggs). They would be careful not to put toxic household cleaners next to fresh fruit. They would balance the weight among the bags so that one would not be so heavy and break. Now, when I visit the store, on a regular basis, the things I buy are just tossed in haphazardly with little consideration for the goods. You would think that now that I am paying for the bags that service would improve, right? Not so. To be fair, there are a lot of great employees here providing good service and some of the baggers do a great job. But I think the store could use a training program.

Avoided grouchy pants line and bought our Christmas dinner through Deanne’s line. She was so kind and genuine. That’s the customer service we strived for when I worked there for 25 years.

Found this place using my mobile Unilocal app. The app gave me directions to the store via Google Maps. I did not follow the directions precisely because it would have led me in the big circle. Either the physical location or Google Maps needs to be updated to provide a more direct route to the grocery store. The store itself carried everything I needed. I picked up some of the coffee infused protein drinks that they offer. Their selection was rather small, but I found what I was looking for. At check out, to my surprise, I was in uniform, and the lady in front of me insisted on paying for my groceries as a show of appreciation. I tried to decline, but she insisted. It’s nice to see that people have appreciation for uniformed personnel.

Kudos to Linda, who has gathered a huge and impressive selection of local wines, and knows all about them to boot and is extremely helpful. She can point you in the right direction so you leave town with enough to last til the next visit. AND she will fill your telephonic order and ship it for FREE! Finding this low-cost outlet for some out-of-reach wines for everyday drinking has me purty darn happy. The wineries hike up prices shamefully. Don’t buy from them — it’s highway robbery.

This Albertsons is great as far as a grocery store goes. In fact, their local wine selection is stellar and if you don’t have time to go wine tasting and need to grab some quick bottles for any reason, I’d totally recommend them for your first stop. But this review is about the prepared Turkey Dinner for the holidays. Oh my gosh we were so disappointed. My husband insisted on doing it this way, this year because I had to work the day before and the day after and our guest list had grown to 20. Bless his heart, he thought that he and my daughter would set up and do most of the work. And they totally did! They really pitched in this year. So that saved a lot of work on my part. And then there was the dinner. The turkeys came cooked but frozen and vacuum packed. The mashed potatoes were Albertson’s frozen(TV dinner caliber) mashed potatoes as was the stuffing. There were no extras such as sweet potatoes or veggies, They said that they used to include more in a premium package but now they don’t. So personally I feel that it took just as much time to coordinate the heating and the warming and the prices were almost triple for the turkeys. We bought 3 and as I said, we were shocked to find everything frozen! Sooo just a heads up. I felt that It was a total rip off all around for the money and the prep time that was supposed to be so convenient.(We didn’t even get to sleep in because they were cooking the turkey, we were told to get there by 6AM to pick everything up. I guess the only thing that I felt saved me time was peeling the potatoes. But then, I could have just gone and grabbed some of their frozen potatoes myself. I didn’t need it included in the total price for double what I’d have paid buying everything by shopping for it myself. Also it was totally wierd… you ordered and you didn’t pay until you picked it up. You weren’t given a recipt or an order number so it kind of freaked me out knowing that I was responsible getting turkey to 20 hungry family members and loved ones! I do have to say that everything tasted fine. Not over the top great but it didn’t suck.

Has everything you need in a good grocery store. Good prices and you don’t need a card anymore to get the discounts. Plenty of parking and not busy at all.

I moved 3 hours away to the bay area a few years ago and stop by here every time I am in town to pick up my favorite local wine. EVERYTIME, the SAMELADY is ALWAYSRUDETOME when I ask for SIMPLE help! This lady works in the wine department. She’s very knowledgable, yes, but God forbid you ask her where something is. She will tell you as if you were supposed to know. YOUARESORUDE!!!
