I don’t recommend chicken chaufa here, it had a bad aftertaste. Papa a la huacaina was ok… A little cold but had some taste; I didn’t bother with the dessert at this point… was not impressed.

Tiny and very cozy restaurant with Peruvian cuisine. Very friendly, very family style. I’m pretty much sure it is a family owned business. Owner and staff of just a few people are extremely friendly. Ambiance is awesome. They have a huge TV screen, but for the most part it is muted, so it does not bother.

All this plus breakfast menu and desserts fits on one page bilingual menu. We tried Chicken soup, empanadas and plantains. It was all very good and hearty. I was impressed with their shakes too. They nicely accommodated food allergy requirements, considering their limited English and our limited Spanish. It is definitely one of the champions among «small-​holes-​in the-​wall with great food».
