El Tapatio

Excellent Tacos! I went there with some friends who told me they make great tacos. There were 3 of us so we ordered 9 tacos to share — 3 chicken, 3 steak, and 3 pork. The chicken tacos were a little bland and dry but with salsa on them they were delicious. Steak and pork were very flavorful on their own. Very happy with my meal.
One problem I had was their guacamole. I ordered some to go with our complimentary chips but it was flavorless. We all tried it once and had the same reaction. But the tacos were so good I can forgive them.

Been coming here for years, always good AUTHENTIC Mexican food. Went with the family. The tortillas are homemade (you can tell by looking at the borders). The tacos, sopes, (kind of souped up taco) tlcacoyos (same but with nopale), tostadas and tortas (sandwiches) and the pollo con mole poblano are really good. It is BYOB a plus in my book.

Our Mexican plumber recommended this place and we were excited to have some authentic Mexican, even though this place is in the hood. Let’s just say, it was pretty authentic in that we came home with awful stomach aches. (Think Montezuma’s revenge, but just a mild case.)
I ordered the tosadas, crispy corn tortilla layered with fries beans and your choice of meat. It comes with 3, so i ordered 2 chicken and 1 pork. I liked the pork one, but the chicken was pretty dry. Husband ordered the soft tacos, 1 chicken, 1 beef, 1 pork.
The presentation was great and we even took pictures, however we erased them from our phones b/​c we did not want to be reminded of the aftermath.
We really wanted to like this place. The other dishes on the menu sounded like real homey Mexican food and all the patrons in the restaurant were Mexican which was a good sign. Too bad we got sick.

Good Mexican food. My wife brought me here and I ate so much. I had the enchiladas in green sauce and it was delicious.

Great casual Mexican food! I Come here most of the time with the family. Not too well known but its still a great place to dine. Recommend the «gorditas con chorizo «crunchy round tortilla with cheese, sour cream, and Mexican sausage.
