International Steam Baths

This is a great spa clean and only $ 30. They have good temperature in suanas and excellent food

The following review is a cautionary tale for the «International Steam Bath.» I had purchased a Groupon for this place and it was for unlimited steam and a lunch pass. I arrived and the man at the front spoke little to no English. He had me wait for the manager, whom I assume was upstairs or something like that. TWENTY minutes later, this vagrant rolls in on a bicycle and is dressed in tattered sweatsuit. I assume that he speaks better English than the other guy: wrong assumption. This manager spoke no English. He brought me upstairs to check out the changing room for women. It was basically a closet with a vaccuum cleaner, pots and pans, and a dirty stand up shower. I really dont know where he expected me to put my clothes. I told him «No, this doesnt work» and his solution was to let me change in the men’s locker room, which was more spatious but there was mens clothes laying about so I could have easily been intruded upon while I am changing. I asked where the steam room was and he said downstairs. at that point I told him I did not want to steam here. When I went into my car, this guy bicycled down the block into the distance. What the heck kind of operation is this place? If you want a good Russian steam in NJ — go to BRC in Fair Lawn. This place is a nightmare. Also — the kitchen wasn’t even open and didnt have lights on, so I am not sure how i would have cashed in on my lunch.
